Re: Civ 5 GMR 16 Reject Earth Edition
But I'm not ready for this repsonsibility nah ok I'll update it when I get home and don't have to reauthenticate with Steam every five minutes, unless there are any objections.

Re: Civ 5 GMR 16 Reject Earth Edition
Spoiler: Mr. Silver: IroquoisIt might interest you to know that my scout has located a barbarian camp at the mouth of the river on which your capitol lies. So far, it appears to just be a simple bunch of brutes, but they appear to be close enough to possibly cause some trouble for your future plans. (I have sympathy for this; a wandering barbarian warband is wrecking my citrus plantations.)

I can do that if you let me know your steam name and you don't mind joining a game in progress.
Also, Turn Timer set to 24 hours again. Hop to it, says the guy who's been skipped 3 times already.Spoiler

Re: Civ 5 GMR 16 Reject Earth Edition
So um. Is there room for another human here? Or has Boomwolf taken/taking over the spot?
Well that was awkward.

Oh dang it. "Required DLC not available".
Looking at the civs list, it appears I don't have Polynesia, and don't have means to acquire it for the time being.
Well that was a short reign.. SorryWell that was awkward.

Re: Civ 5 GMR 16 Reject Earth Edition
Since it was memorial weekend, can we revert the turns to before memorial day weekend started? my troops are scattered around in weird positions and I'd like to fix that.

Re: Civ 5 GMR 16 Reject Earth Edition
I dunno, to be honest. I don't think it's likely to break GMR, but then I haven't actually seen a 14-turn reversion take place before so it's anyone's guess. On the one hand, it is annoying having to undo AI movement orders (I got skipped back when the time extension was undone and had to deal with that a bit myself), but on the other hand 2 entire rounds is a lot (half a week's worth of turns we'd have to redo). Especially since it only seems that you've got awkward troop placement to deal with, rather than having policy or research choices screwed-up or having had the AI lose a settler to barbarians.
If you think that's still crucial enough to warrant a roll-back though then I won't object, although I would hope that it isn't going to set a precedent -- these games can go on long enough as it isLast edited by Mx.Silver; 2016-06-01 at 11:54 PM.

Re: Civ 5 GMR 16 Reject Earth Edition
Well, alright, if that's the case, 1) sorry for dragging strategic information out of you and 2) I'll go ahead and revert.
I believe I need someone to pick up Netherlands so I can revert the "AI's" turns, correct? If so, here's the invite code. Illven or whomever, let me know when you pick it up and I'll start clicking.

Re: Civ 5 GMR 16 Reject Earth Edition
Okay. Reverted, sorry for the delay. You know the History Monks, always taking their time.
This is the only time I'm ever reverting this many turns, though. In the future, please let me know ahead of time if you're going to be afk long enough to get skipped, or if you get skipped, ask for a revert immediately. Even if it's a national holiday and you think it's obvious, please just ask beforehand. I don't know your personal holiday plans. Thank you.Spoiler

Re: Civ 5 GMR 16 Reject Earth Edition
Yeah, I do apologize for this. I kind of didn't realize the memorial weekend was hitting. I mean, I knew it was memorial day weekend, but for some reason that didn't translate in my mind to "you may not have time to play your turns". Again, I am sorry for this and want to thank you for doing this.
