It was a watcher or a lookout that died day one, so I may or may not be dead.

I can confirm I am not the lookout, and I do not believe it is possible I have died yet.

I think our roles change after death. My hints are that I scried somebody and they confirmed my suspicion later (there was even a test, I assure you I was the Seer while alive) when I was alive.
On the night I died, I scried Flat_footed as "a Raspberry."
I said Flat_footed was the Devil because Raspberry sounded nothing like any of the other roles I was familiar with (from scries or my own role), which were all descriptive nouns.
Then Flat_footed didn't say that he was something else or accuse me of being the Fool or say he might have been vortexed or any other thing that might have saved him. So I thought he was actually the Devil.
And he was. It was a quick idea of how I could use my (probably false) scry to bag a wolf and it worked.
So I'm the Fool now and I don't think there's a Seer. I think most of us have the one role before death and switch after death. So, for instance, since Indarra got off a Beast-Kill Day One, she was probably the Beast then. Which makes her the Demon now.
Since Beast is a pretty normal wolf role, I think the expected roles are the ones the wolves have when they're alive.
So that's information for Town.

This makes sense with what my hints have been containing; they switched after the B or P death N1, and private communication with somebody who was most certainly not a dead wolf pretending they were the lover had this line: "Did you think, in the hypothetical situation that I was a wolf, that we would waste another night-kill on you?". This indicates to me that, if they were a wolf (which of course they were not), this could be taken as a hint that they targeted me for death already

Of course, when I say "what my hints have been containing", I mean vote counts. I'd like to extend an invitation to the other Bureacrat/Politician to contact me, so we can compare numbers. If Xihirli's theory is true (and it makes sense to me give how my hints have changed and what I understand my role to be) then we should both have the same numbers for each lynch since I died, and can thus confirm each others identities. This should give the two of us 1) a vague network, and 2) vote counts for every lynch, which should be able to let us take some of the ambiguity out of the process.

Of course, this only works out if they actually contact me, and we compare numbers and find each other to be trustworthy.

This could change things pretty spectacularly. I was under the impression that there are two people assigned to each role, but I too am beginning to think that this is not the case. It seems rather unlikely that 7 people have died so far without the second of a pair of roles coming up. My role has not come up dead, and I know of one other role ("The Telephone Operator/?") that has not come up dead either. (And when I say 'rather unlikely' I mean extremely unlikely)

Of course, my initial reasoning came from my impression that the Beast would only kill someone who voted for them, but if there are only one of each role then that means that:

A) the Beast doesn't work that way and Libro is dead (Libro didn't vote for Indarra).
B) Libro is lying about his role.
C) There are more than one Watcher/Lookout.

I'm inclined to believe that A is the case, as we can see that the Lover's role obviously is different from normal and other hints seem to show that this isn't a typical werewolf ga... oh.

Also, this would mean that AvatarVecna is totally dead and the only politician. (sorry AV!)
