Frederic saw some orcs? Bugbears? Goblins? He has heard about this creatures, but never seen one before. He had a bad feeling in his stomach. And that they were heavy armed, didn't make it better.
But they haven't recognized Frederic and Orth yet. He stood still and listened what they were saying.

Jon holds his thoughts of sight versus distances in the background has he watches everyone taking off. After freeing his bow from his back to hand carry, he too joins the jaunt at a double move. Once spotting the source of the original sound, Jon will move to try and cut off escape routes and keep the source of trouble hemmed in.

Ready action: once escape routes appear to be cut off by the school groups' positioning then knock an arrow and aim.

my limited experience in nature ( read as know:nature lol) has taught me that goblinkind is rarely friendly. ..especially the kind that is sneaking armored around a town that is near its boiling point, good job covering our backs btw! That has to be why the fiends could not strike me Orth seems quite sure thats the only way he was missed multiple times since he has never had support in battle before

Did...Any...See...Where...Came...From This long lapse of Discipline on Jon part, is very disconcerting, but is easily read as a smiling relief to see his fellows well and a need for breath.
Taking a moment longer to breathe, horizon scan, and compose, Jon seems to get back to the norm of his behavior. Waiting for all to talk until he sees a chance to launch into a small speech.

You both did amazingly well, but when you find one band of monsters, there are more. This war may have displaced a nest...We should either send a runner to the militia base and look for the new nest, or all go back and see if we can get some back up. Plus we didn't get too much useful information at the school. Still I'm glad... Another smile flashes across Jon's face, before it looks back at the base.

Ander looks around at the destruction to notice any signs of life. There are none. The huge gashes of battle have left these monsters nothing but large sulking husks of their former selves that will eventually be food for the earth.

John in his stint to be of help notices nothing out of the ordinary. There's not even a clamouring (that can be seen) of other guards coming their way. And beyond where the monsters lay he doesn't notice anything about the direction in which they came from.

Robina will gather their weapons, and any other items that look worth taking as well as strip them of their armour if it looks like worth taking.

There are likely to be more of them, we should report to the Sergeant. Then maybe get a team out here to remove the bodies. If we leave them out in the open it'll attract something nasty, or they'll turn into something nastier
