Can the Disciple of Mammon be used to get into Master of the Unseen Hand?

Wondering if the PrC Disciple of Mammon's 3rd Level Ability Steal (Sp) from Book of Vile Darkness, be used to enter the Master of the Unseen Hand's PrC from Complete Warrior

It says as the spell Telekinesis, but only the take an object function is listed

Technically yes but you wouldn't be able to use most of the MotUH class features, at least not well, since they all key off of telekinesis and the version you get is -far- more limited than the standard spell.
