Re: Vampire: Renfield's Masquerade (Game Thread)
I think CKG should be lynched. She was neck and neck for a bandwagon race and then survived. I wonder if there was a bit of undue influence involved in saving her?

Re: Vampire: Renfield's Masquerade (Game Thread)
Hah hah! Once more, the timing-heavy portfolio pays off! Yes, I should be dead. Looks like you're stuck with me.
Fullbladder cracks the door open.
"For me? Oh, Andre, you shouldn't have." The door slams shut again, and Fullbladder pops out of the room next door, having escaped via the window. "However I am trying to regulate the sugar intake, and cannot accept the candygram. You understand."
The tiny steam driven arm hanging from his shoulder points spasmodically at Ichneumon, it's tiny brass pipes making noises akin to Morse code. Following a morse code translation of the noises, however, would give one something along the lines of "I don't think there is any real evidence here anymore."The above post sponsored by Fullbladder Manufacturing.

Re: Vampire: Renfield's Masquerade (Game Thread)
By "he probably should have", I was responding to the idea that he would have been auto'd.
As in: Andre: He should have been auto'd long long ago *snip*
Shadow: He probably should have *snip*
Nothing more.
There was no voting influence anywhere in that statement, and to be frank, I'm not sure how you thought there was.
At any rate, I'll shut up now and let you continue to play.

Re: Vampire: Renfield's Masquerade (Game Thread)
Dangerous for us all. Look at it this way. If she's a good guy why isn't she being dangerous for the vampires. Therefore it's more likely she's dangerous to us (non-vampires).
I also think ZRS is a bit dangerous. But then I played with both as bad guys in other games and they were both key support to the bad guy team I was in in those games.

Re: Vampire: Renfield's Masquerade (Game Thread)
Sorry I've been missing lately. With work being the only time that I can get on-line at the moment, coupled with the fact that I've been uber-busy at work.... I just haven't had much time.
Well anyway, the update will be edited into this post shortly.
****! Now there's something that I have to deal with that's going to take a lot of time.
I don't have time to be creative and sit here typing.
So, unfortunately, a simple summary will have to suffice.
Lord Fullbladder, Master of Goblins was staked.
Day begins and will end whenever actions have been determined, or in 24 hours.
Please PM all relevant actions to Helgraf and Shadow.
The ten remaining players are:- Andre Fairchilde
- Atreyu the Masked Llama
- CurlyKitGirl
- Eldritch Knight
- Hyramgraff
- Ichneumon
- Ink
- Jontom Xire
- Zar Peter
- ZombieRockStar

Re: Vampire: Renfield's Masquerade (Game Thread)
And yet I can't stop thinking that it's pointless to use a stake through the heart to find a vampire. Wouldn't that kill anything?

Re: Vampire: Renfield's Masquerade (Game Thread)
'Twas a perfectly logical accusation. I had dodged the bullet once already and was just short hours away from from mocking the fact that I had dodged another.
Also, my bad voting record, my unhelpful posts, and a wanton disregard for temporal placement might make one suspicious of me.The above post sponsored by Fullbladder Manufacturing.

Re: Vampire: Renfield's Masquerade (Game Thread)
((There will be a brief daytime delay due to an unavoidable total hard drive reformat and reinstall. We apologize for the dragging of the game this has produced. I apologize doubly for the hit in game quality and interest that this continous string of problems has created and can only hope that next time [and there will be a next time, with a few rules tweaks based on this run] the universe won't test me so severely.
As soon as I get the surviving player role list from Shadow, I will post the conclusion of Day with all the actions I've received so far. By the way, some of you haven't sent in an action and haven't declared a default for when you don't submit - if you don't get those to me, the ability will simply go unused. This is not a big deal for those of you with limited use abilities, but for those who get a free 'x' each day, it is a missed opportunity...))Last edited by Helgraf; 2007-12-15 at 01:25 AM.

Re: Vampire: Renfield's Masquerade (Game Thread)
The Templar is completely confused as to whether it is day or night. If it is Day, then he should be able to go outside his room, and so he does.
Clearly, if it is day, then no Vampires are about - so it is safe to hunt them.
Seeing that there is no activity on the streets, the Templar heads first to church. No one is there. After praying for a few moments, he heads over to the library.
So much tinder here! He leaves, making a note to come back and check out some books as soon as he finds a target.
He makes his way to a tavern - ghostly silent for being the middle of such a long, long, long, long, long, long day.
"Am I dreaming? But the sun is out."
Now searching for anyone - not only the hated undead - he continues the search for people by picking a home at random.
Selecting a home with smoke coming out of the chimney - he knocks. No answer. He knocks again. No answer. He kicks in the door and finds... no one. The fire is lit, food is cooking, but no one is in the two story home.
The templar walks upstairs, grabs a straw filled matress, and brings it downstairs. He thourougly searches the house, but finds no one.
He continues to bring valuables down into the living room.
After spending over an hour bringing all the belongings downstairs, he walks over to the fireplace, grabs a log - sets it on fire, and slowly deliberatly sets all the belongings on fire. Seeing that the pyre of possessions is burning, the Templar walks out of the empty home, and into the next house to do the same there..."see the little angels rise up high, how do they rise up, rise up, how do they rise up high?"

Re: Vampire: Renfield's Masquerade (Game Thread)
Lady Clara is still in her home, learning her deportment.
However, the forth wall breaks once more and CKG walks out of a shimmery black portal thingy. Walking over to the pyromaniac she's never seen before she stands around holding a couple of sticks and a large bag of Marshmallows. "I wonder if I'll be able to have roasted marshmallows."

Re: Vampire: Renfield's Masquerade (Game Thread)
The list that Helgraf asked for has been sent to him, so there should be an update as soon as he gets time.
Also, my home net issues should be resolved this week (either tomorrow or Wednesday) so I'll be able to help out once again.
And now.... back to work for me....
