The Fabulous Tens were a mercenary unit known for their style and tendencies to overdo the decorations on their armor and shields. They were also known as the only mercenary unit that won a battle by making the enemy lose by default: the enemy laughed so hard they could not fight.

"Hey, sarge... why does a smart guy like you serve in this unit?"
"I was king's closest advisor and I laughed out loud when he farted. So I got this decorative sword and armor that limits my vision and hearing. You?"
"Wrote a couplet about king's daughter. And lollygagging."
"Not bad. At least you got a crossbow."
"It's an arbalest. It shoots small water baloons."

King's most favourite cannon fodder squad "the troublemakers" wore a special uniforms. As a punishment.

The use of advanced robotics to ensure a nightly Elvis concert into perpetuity was not a winning proposition for a certain Las Vegas casino - especially when the winged Elvis android decided to imitate the actions of fictional predecessors from Westworld to Terminator.
