Re: Haruki's Historically Hilarious Honey-covered Random Banter #94
I'll drink a cup of coffee at work on occasion to keep me awake, but other than that I don't drink it.
I tend only to tea if I'm sick, otherwise for warm drinks its Hot Cocoa or Apple Cider.... mmmmm apply cider...
Also I suppose Irish Coffee is an exception, I'll drink those on St Pats like no tomorrow!

OK. I've been staying up way to late recently, so here's what I'm going to do. I'm telling all you that I will be in bed by 1 o'clock, and if I'm not, tomorrow you all get to lynch me and I am publicly shamed. Sound like a plan?

Re: Haruki's Historically Hilarious Honey-covered Random Banter #94
I hate my French teacher. She sets us stupid niggling bits of tat to do. Four pieces a week. We only have four lessons a week.
And noone is to spout that: It's for your own edcation, it must help' rubbish. We can see it but if you're set a fair amount of homeowrk or none at all each week you'd rather have a moderate sized piece to do.
Half of us barely remember the ten phrases we have to translate or whatever because it's so small you either say "I'll do it after this large piece of work for [insert]" or you just plain forget about it because it's so small.
She's so patronising and condescending too.
And I spent my half hour dog walk composing a lenghty and elegant curse just for her. All in my head, and it's so well thought out over the months that if she pushes me too far she'll get a ten minute Curly rant of darkness and pure unstoppable anger.
Bathatar!
Squid bones are lies.

"Bwahahahahahaha! You fools. You lynched your one protection from diabolical French teachers and their homework. Now watch as I turn to the dark sode and lay a curse upon her"
As a result of her eternal torment and her subsequent tormenting of her French teacher - including cursing her with endless terror filled nights - Curly turned to the Dark Side; ate all their cookies and flooded the world with inane French homework.
I think I'll just not bother to do any of half term. That's simple enough.

Re: Haruki's Historically Hilarious Honey-covered Random Banter #94
Raiser was obviously attempting to get the baner out of the way, so he could pick the villagers apart one by one...therefore only one thing remained to do...
*point at Raiser*
It's amazing the things people will use as logic these days, isn't it...
Also, coffee is wonderful for the morning...warm and yummy! Black is the usual preference for me, although I will at times pick up one of those containers of flavored creamer to have with it. My usual is Irish Creme, though I will at times try others. At the moment (since my Irish creme was all out) I'm trying southern pecan...or something. It's ok, not too icky sweet.

To pause the rantings about coffee and death for a moment:
My brain no worky with maths.
Is 25g of Sodium Cloride 3 Moles using the formula
25g | 1 Mole
23Na|35.4Cl

To go back to the coffee subject ( ) I forgot the other point of my post...in the evenings, I prefer to drink tea. Lately I've been having Spiced Mandarin Orange tea, though I also have one that is a pomegranate and somthing else mixture...it's...interesting. Green tea is always a favorite of mine.

See, this is why I dislike all of my maths teachers.
Including science teachers who do maths.
Apparently it's something like [(Top 1 * Top 2)/(Bottom 1*Bottom 2)]*100
Though my mind just pulled a minesweeper out of nowhere, so I apologize for posting the question in the first place.

I have no clue.
I just nod and do the math.
*Looks in wikipedia*
I don't think so.
Because wouldn't that be 100%?
And now I can only think in simple sentences.
Drat.

Re: Haruki's Historically Hilarious Honey-covered Random Banter #94
Here is how it works, you are trying to find how many moles of NaCl are in 25g of it. So you add up the weight of one molecule of stuff, in this case 1 of Na and 1 of Cl. so 23+35.4 = 58.4 g per mole. So one mole of NaCl will weigh 58.4g (1 mole * 58.4g / mole = 58.4 g) So you have (25g / 58.4 g / mole = .428 mols of NaCl.
You started out right with the division, but you need to find the molecular weight.
Hope that helps!
