Okay, I was reading the common abbr. sticky, and happened across "Feud, The". What is it and why did it start?

It was a silly SMBG fight between El Jaspero and someone else (PhoeKun, maybe?), and it eventually extended to other forums, but remained between them. It's lost all meaning. It's only in that thread because that thread is old.

You learn to ignore the Feud, and War, and Slight Difference of Opinion, and Spat, various little conflicts that erupt in the SMBGs.

The Feud was between El Jaspero and Blackfox (Brickwall was half right).

IIRC, it started in Stabbity Death, and then spread like the plague. In more ways than one. At one time, there were too many clones of it to count, however, The Feud remains the most famous, and the most asked about.

Basically, it consised of El J and Blackfox playing stabbity death throughout the boards.

One of these threads shows up every few months or so. I'm going to tell the whole freakishly long story, and then someone needs to sticky this thread or something...

Anyways, The Feud started in SMBG when I came to realize that El Jaspero was plotting against me. Naturally, I decided to retaliate and began to plot against him. Both of us made made preparations for a direct assault upon our persons. It was a rather indecisive time; there were simply too many booby traps and big nasty poisonous weapons to keep around. Eventually, one of us (and neither of us can remember who exactly, although I would never, never, never do such a thing) decided to deliver a pre-emptive strike, and *stabbed* the other. This vile and despicable act, of course, confirmed the suspicions that we were plotting against each other. The Plot dissolved rapidly into an all out *stabbity* war. Sooner or later, as the bystanders watched in wonder and horror, one of them, known by the name of caw, had the brilliant idea to give a name to this pointless and gratuitous violence: The Feud. It was only when the bloodshed reached record heights (5,238,602 donor units) that The Feud became The Feud.

The Feud continues today, or it would, if that horrible cowardly little cretin, El Jaspero, ever logged on here anymore.

The War is the conflict between Korith and ZombieRockStar, which involves stuffing each other into the vending machine. The Slight Difference of Opinion is between me and Bookman. We steal each other's tail at every opportunity, but for some reason, this usually happens in the countdown game. Then there's the Squabble between Zar Peter and CurlyKitGirl, about the existence of squid bones. There's a few more of these things going on, but I can't remember them all right now.

There was also Moon Called's Rage against all those people who made that stupid, "Hey, the Moon Called," Joke. There was also a short lived(VERY short lived) battle between the forces of Truth, Justice, and Nachos and the Forces of Chaos, Evil, and Cookies.

There's also The Vendetta (started as a result of Darius losing to me in the Drow itp contest), there was the Great Pie Rivalry (or something like that. Molytov, where'd you disappear to? ), and there was the Killing Spree (Chilli God...if you came here more I'd carry on stabbing you. )

(Seriously now) If I remember correctly, El J had given it to BlackFox (can't remember why BlackFox would have taken it. I know that he gave it to her because he knew she had no reason to use it.) BlackFox gave it back to El J as a 'wedding gift', thus starting the Fourth War of Haberdashery (what the hell color that was supposed to be...? I can't keep track of them anymore...), but I don't remember whether it actually ended up being destroyed or not.

Oh boy, those were the days. Full of senseless killing and skipping across green fields. Good times by all means. And you gotta love the enigma that is wrapped around The Feud, it's almost eerie.

On the subject of The Vendetta, it was the result of oppression and injustice...and meaningless hatred. Having lost the Drow in the Playground competition I felt a need to express my anger towards Cassie, so I declared a Vendetta. More people have been added since then.
