William. Think about it for a sec, and it makes sense.

Re: Foolamancer name
So what have we got so far? In alphabetical order:
- April
- Edgar
- Pennywise
- Rumpelstiltskin
- Tom
- William
- Yorick
Most of these are allusions to Shakespeare; but literary analysis of Shakespeare's plays has gotten so convoluted that just about any name from the Bard's works could have a plausible explanation furnished for it--for all we know, the Foolamancer's name could be Cordelia...
My money is on William, guardedly.

Bill, not Willaim, Bill: Just because something like that would be perfectly in line with Erfworld's humor.

Re: Foolamancer name
I'm sorry but his name has to be Juliet.
A point to anyone who gets the reference.

Re: Foolamancer name
If (as some have suggested) the Fool in King Lear presents Shakespeare's opinions and therefore should be named William, then by analogy, the Foolamancer must be Rob.

Re: Foolamancer name
I still think his name will link in with Misty and Maggie.
They are the only names I've heard so far that don't really sound funny on their own, so I'm betting the three eyemancer names of Misty, Maggie and "foolamancer" will be a joke of some description.
And Parson, of course, will work it out and get the joke then tell Stanly for Brownie points.

Re: Foolamancer name
Actually Maggie is already a joke. (It's the friendly name people used for Margaret Thatcher, the famous British Conservative Prime Minister, whom this Maggie strongly resembles.)

Re: Foolamancer name
I believe its The Riddler from Batman. The real name that is. He looks like the Jim Carey version on one of the Batman movies.

Re: Foolamancer name
That'd be the old miniseries Tenth Kingdom, which took place in a land comprised of fairy tales. One of the main characters (from Modern Earth) wagers his friend's life against a golden axe if he can guess the woodcutter's name, mistakenly assuming that it will be "Rumplestilsken." At the last second, a Friendly Woodland Creature shows up and tells him the answer is "Juliet."
Now where's my cookie?

I think Prospero would fit quite nicely considering the circumstances.
