I'm off to camp for a week in case anyone cares or notices. (both of which I doubt due to my excessive lurking and horrible people skills)

Re: Dr. Bath's Random Banter, dripping with daring deeds of dastardly deipnosophists
On a completly different subject, I suck at birthdays.
See, my cousins B-day was on Tuesday(this is the cousin who tried to commit suicide multiple times), and I completly forgot.
We haven't talked in months but still(she texted me and I couldn't even remember who she was from the number).
Also, my step fathers birthday was today, and I was assigned to make the cake.
So, I'm up at 5ish in the morning, using the mixer right after he's left for work(and nobody else is up), and I'm cracking eggs and I'm sifting flour and all those wonderful things, when I go to turn on the oven.
My pants catch fire.
Apparently I had already turned on the oven, and when I went to turn it on again I slipped and brushed my pants on a metal bit that was sticking out of it.
Luckily, I didn't like those pants anyway.
So, I change my pants and continue sweating away at the mixing when who should grace me with his presence but my little brother!
He mumbled something about mum telling him to help me and goes in the living room to watch infomercials.
So I finish the cake, two layers of frosting and burnt pants, and my little brother finally comes in from the living room(after about thirty minutes of me asking him with varying stages of exasperation to help) with a knife and tries to cut a huge slice out of it!
I hate birthdays.

The other side of the world for me is a tiny little island called Henderson in the south pacific. Just thought I'd bring this discussion OUT of the crush thread.

I'm pretty sure that you can turn off the vibrate. I did it, but then my phone is really old. And covered in stickers.
I would much prefer 'the circle of life' if Elton John could keep his lyrics somewhere else. The lion king made me cry when I was little. But then Rowan Atkinson sang I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts, so it was ok.

I never watched all those disney movies. I screwed my youth over watching Bill Nye and The Magic School Bus.

The Cinematic Orchestra. Very cool stuff. I had to go into three shops to find it and the last one had loads of their cds I wanted, but I only had £15 left.
Next time. Next time.

Well that was odd.
Collapsed asleep on my desk for a good few hours, woke up and my little brother walks in with a puppy. New pet. Odd thing to wake up to.(^")^ ¬<("v)

Re: Dr. Bath's Random Banter, dripping with daring deeds of dastardly deipnosophists
I once set my shirt on fire by standing too close to the cooker with it untucked. The funny part is I didn't even notice until my mum told me I was on fire.
Yesterday, I went out to the cinema, left the house at 12:50pm. I returned home at about 5:50pm today, having missed 4 meals in the meantime. It was AWESOME. I love my friends.

My dog tries to sleep on me sometimes, only he's a labrator retriever, and ways about 90 pounds, so it doesn't work as well as he thinks it does
