Yayyy! I finally figured out completely how my distortion pedal works. I am very pleased with the results.
But now my splitting headache is driving me to bed.

Re: Jack Squat's Justlessly Juxtaposed Random Banter #101
Very true. Then again, you can't trust any Brit on the subject of the French. We all lie about each other. Though I did hear that in a survey of the most hated country in Europe France was number one by a very wide margin.
Smelly frog eating womanisers.
Stuck up, stuffy, snobby aristocrats.
It's all true, but we can still hate each other with happy tradition. Then again, Brits are only truly happy when they're moaning about things so.
Re the whole languagey adapting thingy pages ago: I could have sworn I'd edited in a bit about how it was insulting to Americans for perpetuating the whole stereotype thing, but I guess I typed it but failed to submit it.
It's what happens when your autistic brother (who legally shouldn't be left alone with any under 21) does a runner and you have to run out (barefoot) and find him before he gets [insert name of disaster here]. And it was raining and he freaks out in the rain so I had to carry this huge freakin' brolly around with me.
Took fifteen minutes to find him and I had glass, sawdust, bits of construction material and gravel in my feet. Let that be a lesson to ye: never run down a road where a major rebuild's going on.
It only brings pain and small amounts of blood. I have tough soles.

You seem to get a lot of songs stuck in your head, Castaras. Try listening to Heartbeat City by The Cars. (I'm not sure what the song's about, but I really like it.)
"It doesn't matter what you think I'm supposed to be, 'cause I myself know all too well." Line from "King of My World" by Saliva.

I find Tantric really good at eliminating unwanted songs, and shielding against other incoming ones.
Well, head trauma works too, but listening to Tantric is usually much more enjoyable...

The mental imagery of a bard singing and banging his head on the desk almost makes me want to present evidence of Mordokai dropping a level towards blackgaurd.

Re: Jack Squat's Justlessly Juxtaposed Random Banter #101
I haven't slept in roughly thirty eight hours and I'm punch drunk. Possibly.
I got bored and went walkies along the green by the beach and got very cold wind in my ears (so earachey) and I had for sustenance a vanilla flavoured mini - milk and a cold can of fizzy drinks. I'm wearing a short - to - almost - non - existant sleeved top and the highest temperature was 15*C here; at about half one. Not including wind chill factor.
I was just ambling along the prom and green getting coldish and staring at the sea and it's very mesmerising. Especially where it was splashing up over the front. I spent ten minutes just watching it.
I'll miss the sea when I go to uni.
I'll miss it so much.
The sea's too beautiful.
And my punch drunkenness explains my need to walk in the sort - of - dark and cold, eating and drinking very cold things, wearing thin clothing. And why I have earache and a small headache. And I was attacked by bugs. Bugs from seaweed and blown along by the wind impacting into my ears and face.
Startling.

Re: Jack Squat's Justlessly Juxtaposed Random Banter #101
I pay attorneys lots of my company's money.
Sometimes I type a memo... or an email.
Oh, and my exercise for the day is spent getting up from my cubical and retrieving checks that have to be inspected by myself before mailing out to said attorneys...
There is some other stuff too... this job only gets exciting at the beginning of every month.
I love working for the government. I get paid waaay to much to do what I do... More than schoolteachers anyhow...Last edited by TwoBitWriter; 2008-08-20 at 04:25 PM.

I tend to find peaceful songs rid my head of annoying songs that get stuck.

Re: Jack Squat's Justlessly Juxtaposed Random Banter #101
Why would you want to get annoying songs out of you're head anyhow?
I suppose if I really wanted to then I'd just out-annoy the song in my head into submission. I'm far more annoying than it so they would have to submit to my will.
