Well, I told myself I was going to go biking today too. We'll see how that plan works out.

Alligator? I mean, it probably tastes great in reality, but just thinking about it doesn't make it seem so appetizing to me.

In other news...I'm still trying to make a new webcomic that I actually enjoy and can keep up with...I've got an idea, but I'm not really sure how it'll turn out.

It's been years, but as I recall, alligator does actually taste like chicken. So does squirrel, but it's very gamey.

Meanwhile, tacos are awesome!

Let's see, my list for the day includes:

-do and fold laundry (it's the folding part that gets me every time!)
-clean out and ready spare room for Mom's visit next weekend
-bug Andre until he cuts the grass
-bug Andre Jr until he goes outside to play
-change all sheets
-shower eventually
-waste time on the internet
-etc

I'd imagine they taste kinda spicy. Or maybe a bit like turtle (which I've nevertasted. But it probably tastes like one might imagine turtle to taste like)

I hate the carpooling arrangements I have with... "friends"... for college (word used loosely, 2-yr place). Thus far I only have one class Monday and Wednesday from 9-10:45. The two others have a second class. Thusly I'm probably going to have to wait around the damn place two hours for them to finish. Two hours with nothing to do... twice a week... for months!!! I'm slightly furious and am also pissed that I've been so lazy about getting my license, else I could just drive my damn self there and back.

If this doesn't get fixed in my favour, I'm going to run away.

Rearranging the house is at once exhilirating and tiring. And we're not done yet. At least now the living room is a livable area, and Andre stuck another tv and split the cable up there so we can banish Andre Jr, when we want a turn with the tv.

Mmmmmm, I LOVE alligator! You have to make sure you get it as chunks or steaks though - lots of places serve ground 'gator, which is good but not the same.

Now, frog legs - oh man. I could eat frog legs 'till the cows came home. And then some.

I've had squirrel. It isn't very good. The meat is incredibly lean and bland. You know what's good? Ostrich. That stuff is delicious.

Meh.

The only "weird" stuff I've eaten is kangaroo tail (not too great), crickets (salty and gross), and live jumping shrimp (good, but only because of the garnishes, spices, etc...by itself it's just bland)e. None of them were that memorable. Oh, and there's frog, but that's not really all that weird.

Guess I need to get eating!

(Oh, and I actually did take a bike ride! So there, cynical procrastinator inner me! Nyah nyah! )

Mmmmm, ostrich is absolutely delicious, I agree. There's a local natural-foods store that sells ostrich burger patties. I get 'em whenever I can. The buffalo, too...

There's this store called Savanore's in Boston. It has this special section with strange meat. According to my Dad there has actually been lion and camel meat in that section. This place is where I go whenever I have the craving for something weird. Recently they sold some venison. It was quite good. Tasted kind of like liver.

Just returned from Nowhere Minnesota myself. It was a good ride.. now I have to determine if I accidentally hit the portion of the trail that was marked as "Steep grade, not for all fitness levels" because if I did, that is like the lamest warning ever.

Because I am certainly not 'All Fitness levels', actually I think I am only one fitness level, and a very bad one at that.
