I asked the exact same thing. Apparently he's some evil guy whose inside a green cloud, I think he kidnapped Q's friend's girlfriend or something. But anyway, he's sealed away now.

No it dosen't. You could always make a comic which goes chronologically before my comic.

I don't think this is the best explaination, but basically it's a group of people making collaborative comics. Everybody pitches in to write these comics and everybody takes turns.

There are many different plots you can help write, and you can even do things completly non related to the plots by simpily killing fellow ABRers.

Avatar battle Royale is an art development project in which you draw your avatar killing other people's avatars. That way, you improve your ootS style drawings and have fun at the same time.

of course, the plots poison and corrupt this whole ideology...so it more and more turned into a collaborate webcomic.

Oh. I see. Well, King Bortak does look like a blue version of Bowser and given wings ('cause I was too lazy to draw something truly cool) but he is NOT bowser.

It's basically a webcomic mixed with a play-by-post, at least in our ABR. Each member has a 'character' that is usually based upon his/her avatar. At first, it started out as basically an arena where one guys attacks another guy, that guy retaliates, and so on. Then one guy drew a comic, another guy responded, the other responded back, and then OTHER people wanted in, and things kinda 'snowballed'. Thus, the plot was born. Then, people decided to make it a separate world called 'Avbaroy'. THEN, people wanted to make it clear 'who' their character was. Thus, the backstory comics (like Well That Was Unexpected and My Name is Q)were born.
Now, there's quite a few people in the comic.

YPU, Threeshades, Salmon and to a certain extent Lyinginbedmon and kpenguin.

As somebody else explained it, Sprite Wars is in an alternate, "Pixel" dimension, whereas Avbaroy, and by extension, Fat Fish Fury, Plot 3, and Sorcerer Dude Strikes Back, is located in the "Vector" dimension.

Okay, there are three (3) types of Avatar Battle Royale (ABR):

1. Random Killings (Classical ABR)
2. Plot Comics
3. Sprite Wars (Which is separate to PCs because of it's sprite-based nature)

Random Killings
When YPU first started ABR, it was someone using their avatar to kill another poster's avatar, either in a single picture or a more complex comic format. This is still done to an extent by many artists around here.

Plot Comics
This is the avatar-using RPG element of ABR, where you use your avatar or a unique character to act inside the world of Avbaroy. There are three plots in Avbaroy that share a continuity, they are:

1. Fat Fish Fury (3F, FFF, etc.) (Set in present-day Avbaroy (1525 AC) in the Southeast section of the map)
2. Sorcerer Dude Strikes Back (SDSB) (Set in present-day Avbaroy in the Northwest section of the map)
3. And Plot 3 (Set immediately prior to Avbaroy's Great Cataclysm, near the year 0 BC).

This is presently the most popular and the largest section of ABR.

Sprite Wars
The most recent genre of ABR involves using pre-generated game sprites in a (usually) simplistic background. This is otherwise the same as Plot Comics, but without using your own avatar or a unique character, instead using a unique sprite.
