GLoG IV: Please refrain from kidnapping our members

[Kaelaroth]

Kaela nods, happy that he has a term of endearment. A rip blasts into existence, a hole in the air, a portal leading just outside the cage.

Turtle receives the message and comes running into the room.

She sees a man in a cage, Vespe looking completely unbothered, and Kaela.

"What's going on?"

[Almighty Salmon]

Nomlas steps through the portal and out of the cage. Heh, awesome. He then looks around the room, trying to find Ryu and Tessa. Aw, come out. Hide and Seek is kinda boring. Nomlas then catches a glimpse of Turtle and swiftly aims Kaela at her. Freeze, sucker!

[Vespe Ratavo]

Vespe shrugs. I have no idea. I was going to get involved, but knowing my luck I'd end up punching out the good guys/girls in this fight.

[Kaelaroth]

Kaela blinks. That my turtle fwiend. turtle, me has new fwiend!

[Me.]

Soon, an elf woman, tall, thin, and pale, with mint eyes, flowing silver hair, and robes of mint and white appears next to Kaela and Nomlas, and asks in a calm, distant voice,"My children, why do wish harm upon others. Especially you, Kaela. You surprise me, you used to be such a nice creature, however, now..."

Meanwhile, Ryu sends out another telepathic wave to turtle, though, since he's concentrating on Tara, message comes out like this,"Healing Tessa....foot....attacked...invisible...don't know...to...do....help.....Kaela acting.....bad.....some reason...."

[Kaelaroth]

((A real goddess would know Kaela is a weapon of mass destruction, built to kill ))

[Me.]

((Not if her player don't. I thought Kaela saved Turtle... is she just pure evil? Does she keep switching sides? What the heck man?))

[Kaelaroth]

((*giggle* I'm joking, Kaela's backstory hasn't been revealed yet, but... he's confuzzled, certainly.))

Kaela looks up at the goddess, and s. Me no your chi-ild! You no my mumma!

[happyturtle]

((Even evil people protect people they care about. Turtle is definitely not evil, but Kaela is.))

Turtle gets the message from Ryu, which just confuses her more. She leans down to scratch behind Kaela's ears. "Did you hurt someone, Kaela?" She doesn't sound at all angry.

[Kaelaroth]

Kaela nods, he's still in Nomlas' hands.

[Almighty Salmon]

Nomlas glares over at the goddess and Turtle as he covers Kaela's ears. Don't listen to them, Junior! They're evil, really evil! .. Now destroy something already.

[Me.]

"My dear, I am Tara, goddess of life. While I'm not your biological mother, no, I am your spiritual mother, in fact, I am the spiritual mother of all souls." she says smiling.

Ryu then attempts to cast silence on Nomlas, if successful, he will be temporarily mute, about ten minutes...

[Vespe Ratavo]

Vespe grows pale(er) when the goddess appears, but appears relieved as she announces her name is Tara. He then goes back to his room and deadtimes.

[Kaelaroth]

Kaela have no soul. Or, in fact, biology, foolish entity. The second sentence sounds strange, older, more mechanical, but his voice switches back, to say to Nomlas O-K! He rips away any illusions, and tries to call down lightning on those he reveals.

[happyturtle]

Kaela, did you hurt someone because this man asked you to? she sends telepathically.

The drones are doing nothing at the moment. Since no one is attacking, they have gone into passive defense mode.

Tessa gets zapped by lightning. As soon as she loses consciousness, a Contingency spell activates and teleports her away.

[Almighty Salmon]

Nomlas attempts to let out a cheer for joy as Kaela attacks, but no sound comes out. He quickly realises he's been muted and shakes a fist at Ryu.

[Me.]

The lightning just goes through Tara, is if she were a hologram. She just shakes her head in utter disappointment...

((Why Vespe? Hiding something?))

[Kaelaroth]

Kaela was aiming for Ryu, and he doesn't even notice Tara's emotion. He nods telepathically at turtle.

[happyturtle]

"Kaela, no! Please don't hurt my friends!"

[Me.]

Ryu is now visible, and seems to be in a meditation, eyes closed, hands folded around Rosary Beads, locket glowing, and the lightning hits him but all wounds/ effects are instantly healed...

Nomlas slowly strokes Kaela's fur. Now now, little one. Who are you going to listen to? Me - someone who can give you all the power you want (and feed you awesome food!)? Or her - a selfish woman who wants to conceal your true power? He continues to stroke Kaela. It should be pretty obvious.

[Kaelaroth]

Kaela's lip wobbles. turtle no like Kaela? Rosewater tears burst from his coal-like eyes.

[Almighty Salmon]

Indeed, i'm sorry to say. I think i'm the only one who really likes you.

EDIT: The silence spell was for around 10 minutes. I'm pretty sure that's passed.

[Me.]

Suddenly, whatever Nomlas is sitting on is flung back like a catapult, attempting to send him flying...

[happyturtle]

I love you, Kaela. I always will. Please don't hurt my friends, Kaela. Turtle's telepathic 'voice' has no anger in it, though it does have fear. The love is genuine.

[Kaelaroth]

One. Kaela starts to cry, and his fur changes from lilac, to the exact shade of Nomlas' hair. Two. Nomlas will feel strange, a tingling sensation rushing through him, as Kaela grants him strength, speed, and agility, faster than that of any normal human. Three. Lightning blasts throughout the room, in scarlet blasts of rage. Four. Kaela seeps into Nomlas, vanishing, causing the normal seepage effects.

((deadtime))

[Me.]

"As doIHe may like you ,but we all love you," say both Tara and Ryu's voice, telepathicaly, of course.

[happyturtle]

Once Kaela disappears, Turtle runs to the fireplace and grabs the Spork of Power.

She gets hurt by lightning along the way, but ignores it.

Nomlas grins evily as the power begins to rush through him. He slowly cracks his knuckles and looks around at everyone in the room. Heh, now this is awesome. I never imagined i'd have an evil creature seep into me and give me super evil powers on my first day here. Now which one of you is up for the chopping block first?
