Not so. I can think of many ways to defeat the AMENites.
He pulls up a datapad showing common AMEN antagonists and their known abilities.
Lord Vader and Magtok. Both rely on metal. I can prepare flasks of rust monster venom via spork prior to the wedding.
Shas. As an outsider, vulnerable to cold iron or silver.
Benny and Paddigton. A simple cast of prestigitation or some other transmuting spell can rob them of their magic marmalade.
Decker. Dimension lock the location prior to the ceremony.
Eagle Wiz. An Illithid. Vulnerable to psychic jamming.
Kat. Seperate each klone non lethally and imprison them separately, to prevent merging into PLAID KAT.
Kris puts the datapad down.
Aside from that, I'd suggest multiple security drones on the premises, a number of abjurations, consecrate the site to weaken enemy clerics, and finally, have all GLoG members armed. Heavily.

But failing that, rust venom works on any metal, and then the rest can be handled with bullets. Big ones.

It's not that hard. Guns usually become the staple weapon on most planes specifically because of their ease of use.
It's just about aiming properly and bracing properly so it doesn't go flying out of your hands.
