GLoG VII: Now Vampire Free!

[Kaelaroth]

Sometimes me eats time, but me eats other things as well, misssss! But today, me hungers for time. Big big big man give me some, but not enough.

The lamb's completely oblivious to Susan's murderous thoughts, and just repeats its weak little actions to get her to love it.

[Ashen Lilies]

Well, being an archon I am effectively immortal, and I have 1000 years of time to spare... So I guess you could have some of it...? Phyllis is starting to get disturbed by the pretty pink bunny now.

[Kaelaroth]

YAAAY! Kaela hugs her, and, unless she recoils fast enough, Phyllis will start to physically youthen, at an alarmingly fast rate, decades vanishing into Kaela, in a matter of seconds.

[Ashen Lilies]

((She doesn't age. Archon...))

She recoils after about a second as she feels the years slip away. She's probably lost about 150 years or so to Kaela.

[Kaelaroth]

... That... That not right! Kaela barks, doglike. You not proper, you no age! Cheater! Now Kaela feel ill! Ill! Ill! He wibbles, and wobbles, and falls off Phyllis, bouncing on the floor as if made of rubber.

[Ashen Lilies]

Are you okay? Do you need help?

[Kaelaroth]

Kaela's lip wobbles, and he vanishes in a flash of fire, the ground suddenly spattered with fresh human blood, as a decapitated child falls from the sky, the air pungent with the smell of Coco Madomoiselle Chanel, and the sight of drifting confetti.

((deadtime. The lamb will react as a docile slave animal would, and HT or KK can RP if, should they want to.))

Susan sporks up a fenced pen to close in the lamb, and goes inside to hide from it. Playing the piano so she won't hear it bleating.

Phyllis looks with distaste at the blood and baby, and waves her wand once, clearing up the remains (except the child.). Then, turning her wand into a quill, she writes a single word onto the child's chest, before cremating the body. Somewhere in the universe, a baby is born. Awwwww.

[Kaelaroth]

The lamb bleats, its eyes filled with tears, thoughts of terror rushing through its tiny synthetic brain. Where'd its mommy go? Doesn't she love it anymore? Where is it? Is that a cage? Where's all the grass? Where's mommy? Doesn't she love it anymore?

[Boo]

Mr. Quinne does what he always does. He makes breakfast, and sets up the buffet so everyone wakes up to something to eat.

Again, this is just a breakfast buffet. If you want to make something that wouldn't normally be a breakfast item, then go ahead. The buffet contains Belgian waffles, crepes, pancakes, sausages (all kinds), bacon (all kinds), scrambled eggs, toast, English muffins, croissants, etc...

He then clanks away from his work, and looks pleased with himself.

((It's always funny seeing you prepare breakfast while the smells of dinner waft from the kitchen.))

Phyllis meets Mr. Quinne on the way to the kitchen. He hair is loose and she's wearing a white dress. Freyja's Gift is in the form of a silver bracelet.
Good Morning Mr. Quinne, and have a pleasant day.

[Boo]

Yeah, I just do it because I think the majority of GLoG members are around central US time.

Mr. Quinne is a little confused by the greeting, but dismisses the confusion quickly. "Good morning Ms. Phyllis. Hungry?"

If you're wondering why he's confused, you gave him a greeting and a goodbye in the same sentence.

Phyllis smiles.
I don't actually need to eat, but that buffet looks lovely.

She sits and helps herself to a Belgian waffle.

[Boo]

Dinner, right?

Mr. Quinne stands by a counter. "Neither do I, but I'd would love to one of these days."

[Kaelaroth]

The lamb bleats unhappily from within the playpen.

[Boo]

Hearing the lamb, Mr. Quinne walks to it. I'm sure the lamb would be afraid of him. He stares at it for a moment. "Hello." Hopefully the lamb can talk back (any language will do).

[Kaelaroth]

The lamb softly bleats back. It wouldn't matter if Mr. Quinne was speaking Sheep, it's only a baby. Looking at hime with big, soulful eyes, it bleats again, tears in its eyes, and nudges the playpen ineffectually.

[Ashen Lilies]

((Yep.))

The lamb will have to take its damn bleating someplace else. No one is listening.
and of course I get ninja'd. Twice.
Khiansa is in the library. Kris is in the lab. Phyllis is in the dining room. They don't hear the lamb, but apparently Mr. Quinne has supernatural hearing despite having no ears. (That lamb is no good I tell you!)

[Boo]

>> I thought he was in the next room. And having no ears doesn't mean he can't hear. Sound vibrations racket through his body so his soul can hear. It's overly complex, but... meh.

"You're in there for your own safety, little guy. I'll bring back something for you to drink." He returns to the main room to get something from the fridge. "How's your food?"

[Ashen Lilies]

Delicious. You are indeed a fine cook Mr. Quinne.

[Kaelaroth]

The lamb weeps, and sits down all fumbly, as lambs do. Mewling, it ponders its plight. Where's its mommy? Will it be stuck inside this cage forever?

[Boo]

"Thank you. I'm getting some milk for a lamb I found. I don't know where it came from, but it's in a crib so I'm pretty sure someone got to it already." He opens the fridge to look inside for milk. "Colostrum milk? Huh, I didn't know we had that. I thought it was all just ones with weird chemicals. Lucky lamb." He closes the fridge, gets a rubber nipple from a cupboard (conveniently there), and walks past Phyllis. "You want to see it?"

[Ashen Lilies]

I have already. It was pestering Susan earlier, who was frightened by its unnatural behavior.

[Boo]

"Huh, well I'm going to take a look at it. If it popped into GLoG like most other things, then I'm sure it's frightened." He walks back to the lamb whether Phyllis follows or not, and attempts to feed the lamb the milk he found in the fridge.

[Kaelaroth]

The lamb feeds, tentatively, wondering privately if Mr. Quinne's his daddy. It splutters a little, and bleats a little halfway through, pulling back, full.

[Boo]

Mr. Quinne looks at the little lamb. "I guess you lost your way, huh?"

[Kaelaroth]

The lamb bleats, and tries to push the playpen again, obviously looking t'wards where the deadtimed Susan is.

[Boo]

"What is it?" He looks in the general direction of where the lamb is looking. "Hmm, maybe Ms. Phyllis will know." Mr. Quinne leaves the lamb briefly to get Phyllis. "Could you look at the lamb again? I think it's trying to tell me something."

Phyllis stands up.
Of course Mr. Quinne.
