Well, no. It depresses the hell out of me. But I hope you're not listening to it for the same reasons I listen to it.

On another news, the moon is looking gorgeous tonight.
No, I just love it lyrically and melodically. I'm only young so I've had no reason to have my heart broken. Or fall in love, date etc..

    About alcohol:
I've never had the chance to try much, but I can't abide either white or red wine, be it sweet or dry.
Beer's quite nice, I've only been able to try Newcastle Brown Ale and Murphy's though (dad's stock - only allowed maybe one every two months if that) . Cider is gorgeous to drink.
Oddly, my favourite is martini and lemon (once again, only allowed two per wedding reception) because it's just nice and fizzy.

    Ahem.

I had an exam today. 100 points. I left two questions blank. Each worth 9 points. In other words, the most I can get is an 82.

Oh, well. At least exams are over now.

We must report to our job function every day from Monday through Friday, 7:30 am through 4:30 pm. We are allowed one hour of each day to ingest sustenance for more energy.

I was always that guy that was done way before anyone else with exams.

Not because I studied or anything, but because I refused to sit there and beat my brain to a pulp trying to think of an answer I didn't know. I just wrote the answer that came to mind and moved on. Always seemed to work just fine.

I was usually among the first ten people that finished the exam.

Whether it was because I knew so much or so little was decided from case to case.

At my final exams for HAVO, we had three hours for all exams, these exams counted for half of our diploma grades.

I hadn't studied, I just answered the questions, was done in one hour and forty mins for the one I took longest for. I was the best of my year (at my school)

I feel guilty for that, others deserved being the best much more than I did.

not all questions will be worth nine points, the nine points will be a type of question(possibly essay style). Alternatively there could be one mark for presentation.

Even English exams I was one of the first done. I tend to have a very succinct writing style. What some people were writing a paragraph on I could do in a couple sentences.

We always enjoyed essay exams during the days when we were an individual. It came naturally to a History student as all tests were essays.

Essay exams were far superior to normal exams, even multiple choice.

On the subject of alcohol: I don't like the taste of it, and therefore do not paretake of it. Also, I imagine I would be a very violent drunk harking back to my youth... which I would rather not recount in any more detail here. In fact, why did I even bring ti up at all? Curse you, Herr Brain.

As someone who's done only essay exams for a whole year (and the wierder smaller questions included in the French exams as well) I can say that they're fun, great to write providing you know what you want to say and far more fun than multiple choices.
If I can get 90% on a science test that I:
    a) forgot to study for
    b) forgot was on that day
    c) detested the subject for
    d) barely understood at all
that was multpile choice something is clearly strange there. Multiple coice is merely logic + luck + leeetle bit of knowledge.
That was a complete fluke. So I thanked my Lucky Gods they smiled upon me that day.

We had plenty of multiple choice in high school, and some college classes. But we once enjoyed showing our professor's just how much we knew of the subject at hand.

Of particular note was our essay on 19th Century Germany. We were the only one in the class to score above 100%

Before today, we would have smiled at the memory of that. Now that memory belongs to the Playground, who is above such trivial expressions.

    All of them.

I dunno. They're pretty fun, even though my results have slid down over the years from Gold downwards... Wooooo! FAR FAR FAR easier than the physics challenge. *shudders* Damn that was hard. Didn't help that we were only told about it the day before.

See, that's why I liked multiple choice. It made it so much easier to do well, because all I had to do was remember how stuff worked and do it backwards. The answers were all there already.
