I am Libulel, miss, I'm new. He offers her a cake, a miniature sachertorte, he saw on a counter. Cake cheers my sister up when she's upset.

Wenomir's in the workshop, then. Other people might hear bashing of a hammer and an occasional swearing in some strange language.

Turtle sighs, her flash of anger gone. "You brought him here to be her therapist aka mindrapist. But that doesn't make it your fault any more than it makes it hers. Alek is the one to blame, and I only wish you could have been there to help us kill him. It probably would have been good for you."

[Lex-Kat]

*Sniffle* Thank you. She takes the sachertorte, then carefully gives him a hug. She walks away.

If he doesn't follow she'll pause and look back at him, expectantly.

I do not remember that. Czernov says, sighing, rubbing the space of skin just above his under his left eyebrow.

There's no need - Libulel's already cheerfully following her, humming a tune, skipping slightly in time.

Czernov shrugs. I do have many memory blanks. Particularly: I do not remember exactly how George and I started to be together. And the computer's have no footage of the timeframe.

She gets out two forks and two plates, and sits down in the kitchen. Why have you come here? Do you know any style of fighting? She cuts the cake in half, places half in front of him.

Just then, an envelope will fall in front of Turtle.

My grandfather said I should come here. And I like to do good, it fills me with joy. Libulel says, smiling, once he sees the fork. He tucks it into his hair, above his ear. My first new weapon from this place, how nice. Thank you! As he begins to messily pick the cake apart with his slender fingers, and eat it, he mumbles I can fight, I suppose. Not really any style. Is hoping you don't die a style?

Turtle thinks for a moment. "I... don't really remember that either. I sort of remember that the two of you had a huge fight, but I wasn't exactly sane at the time. Then after the honeymoon, the two of you were together."

Turtle tucks the note into her pocket without reading it. But later, she'll make arrangements to pay in full, in gold.

But... Czernov looks to her. Then...

Um, you use the fork to eat the cake. Like this. She takes a bite of the cake. Mmmmm. She closes her eyes and enjoys the great taste.

"What do you remember?" Turtle says, feeling a cold dread in her gut. Had Alek done this too?

[Kaelaroth]

Um. Being friends, I was teaching him dance. Then... Then... Czernov looks ill, and his eyes flicker blue for a second. Then George, the love of my life, was with me all the time.

That seems clever. Libulel says, inexpertly using the fork.

Turtle blinks. "I... think we'd better call Dr Beit."

[Kaelaroth]

I love George. Czernov says, a mite dreamily, as he drifts back into the main base.

[Lex-Kat]

Melody giggles. She will try to teach him how to use the fork better. Next I'll show you how to eat soup with a spoon. She smiles.

You can still use the fork as a weapon if you wish. I don't know how to fight, either. Now I don't know if I want to learn. She frowns at her cake.

Turtle fishes the note out of her pocket and sends payment to Dr Beit, along with a request for him to make another housecall.

I can fight. I just don't have a style. But, I'm sorry, I don't think I could teach you to fight my way. He mumbles, quickly getting more adept with the fork. I have natural assets I imagine you lack. And we have spoons where I live. But not "forks". Just jabbers.

[Morty]

Wenomir swears rather loudly, storms off the workshop and sits down in the garden.

"I can teach you to fight," Turtle says, walking in just in time to hear Melody talking about it. "But only if you really want to. I mean, from the heart."

[Lex-Kat]

Turtle will find a nother note.

Melody will just watch Libulel eat. He really is cute. She thinks dreamily.

She jumps as Momma interupts her daydreaming. What? I wasn't staring.

Libulel finishes his cake, and, humming again, raids the fridge for grapes, before bounding, froggishly, back to his room, but not before making a cheery goodbye to Melody.

As soon as he calms down a bit, Wenomir will return to the workshop and restart whatever he's trying to do there.

[Kaelaroth]

Libulel's now sitting crosslegged in an armchair, reading a magazine, oohing and aahing at it, his face rigoured with awe.
