Re: Slayer's Seemingly Sweet and Socially Silly Random Banter # 107
Thanks again, Curly. Just finished Neverwhere. For the first five chapters I wasn't sure I was going to like it. Then I read a couple more chapters and decided I did like it. Then I finished it and decided that, all things considered, it was pretty awesome. I especially liked the ending.
If I had more money, I'd go buy more books.I used to do LP's. Currently archived here:

Re: Slayer's Seemingly Sweet and Socially Silly Random Banter # 107
If you really want your stomach unsettled, think of how many Pizza Rolls you ate in your lifetime. I have eaten nearly enough to fill my college dorm room.
It seems like very few people stayed on after I posted that I was going to bed.

Re: Slayer's Seemingly Sweet and Socially Silly Random Banter # 107
I try to eat ramen in controlled intervals. I'm only having it for breakfast because I'm out of granola bars. I'm gonna run to the store and buy a few things today, so I can restock.
I can't believe it... only three weeks left in the semester. College is fast.

I've only had a handful of pizza rolls.
I prefer Bagel Bites.

Re: Slayer's Seemingly Sweet and Socially Silly Random Banter # 107
The trouble with pizza rolls is it's so bloody hard to find any that don't have pepperoni in them. So I tend to prefer jalapeno poppers or mozzarella sticks on the rare occasions that I'm craving something fried.

I'm too sick to think about food right now.
How about we talk about those damn highschoolers who like to smoke next to my apartment because its located right by their parking lot.
They also love to just throw their empty cig-packs on the grass.

Everyone says 'eww' to the concept of potato chips + ketchup, but think about it for a moment.
French fries + ketchup.
Hash-browns + ketchup.
Fried potatoes + ketchup.
It's not as wierd as you think.

It isn't eww.
I tried it and I liked it.
And I'm a picky eater...
But then again, I also like a slice of bread, with chocolate paste/a(err, chocolade pasta, vertaling, iemand?) turkey(slice of) and ketchup....
Yes, I like many things with ketchup.
Yes...many people have called me a american...

Chocolate-covered potato chips are really good.
They are expensive, but worth ever penny.

Re: Slayer's Seemingly Sweet and Socially Silly Random Banter # 107
@Destro: knew you'd like it. My uncanny ability to pair people to books strikes again.
So, had my HPV jab today.
Medium sized needle; stinging going to turning going to numbness. I'd advise Cassie to not look when she gets it done if she hasn't done so already.
And I completely beat one of my fears today. I talked to a complete stranger about booking train tickets and he was accomodating.
Well, when I say beat I mean staved it off until the next time around. But because mum insisted I buy a new outfit I endured great mental pain and anguish. It's called Clothes Shopping.
I now have new, smart trousers.
Hate shopping; stupid teenage parents walking around Peacocks picking tarty clothes to try on and thn leave in the changing room so you've got no hooks to hang your stuff on, and you're left staring in a state in semi - shock at her appalling (even to an inept, fashion senseless geeky girl like me) taste in clothes and how they'd better suit (and fit) a fourteen year old and you happen to now for a fact she's at least twenty.
And then when you leave holding your armful of clothes you don't even particularly want, or really want but can't wear/fit the person behind you glares at you because you organised all of Teen Mum's stuff and left it neatly haning on two hooks.
But I got my Earl Grey when I got home. I've fallen back in love with it; and it's such a Britlander tea, you can just imagine Stephen Fry sitting down in his sitting room somewhere in Norfolk supping his Twinings' Earl grey from a thinly delicate china cup and saucer.
I like my tea now.
Bathatar!
Squid bones are lies.

Re: Slayer's Seemingly Sweet and Socially Silly Random Banter # 107
Whatthaheck is a 'pizza roll'? It sounds like some horrifying conglomerate of lost pizza and carpet hair that has just been unearthed after a month in the foodstuff hell that is underthesofa.
And hummus is indeed, where it is at. with 'it' meaning 'delicious'.
