GLoG 12: [Insert Unique and Witty Title Here]

[Fan]

Fanboy sets his Drinking chocolate down, and will attempt to put his arm aroudn Turtle's waist.

Turtle doesn't resist, but still keeps hold of her own chocolate.

((deadtime for 3 hours or so))

[Me.]

Ryu undeadtimes and makes a pot of jasmine tea. After having a cup, he looks to see what everyone else is doing...

[happyturtle]

He'll see Fan and Turtle snuggled together in front of the fire, and not really noticing the rest of the world.

[Vespe Ratavo]

He'll also notice the TARDIS fading into view, Vespe stepping out, and having a small chat with Victoria and Santa Claus.

[Me.]

Ryu tries to make since of Santa, but to no avail. He then turns his tea into hot chocolate, thinking more appropriate. He then pulls out his flute and begins to play patapan on it... eventually a whole bunch of instruments appear and begin to play along, floating in midair.

[Fan]

Fanboy looks deeply into the small fire before them. Fire had always intrigued him. Its beauty, and its passion were the most obvious things, but also its desire to consume.. It was so much like people in so many ways.
Then he turned his gaze back to his wife staring into her beatuiful [non specfied color here] eyes. These were the same eyes he had falen in love with all these years ago. And now look at them. Married, and going through this.. How he wished he could do more for her.
These are the thoughts that went through fanboys head as he attempted to stroke her hair, and whisper comforting words in her ear.

[Vespe Ratavo]

Eventually, Ryu's band stops. He notices Fan and goes over and says in a serious voice,"Fire, perhaps one of the most complicated things in existence. Science tries to explain it as best it can. They say it is not living, and yet, by their rules it is. It needs oxygen, it consumes, and it grows. Fire is energy."

((Will have to go soon. Almost 10 pm here, got school.))

[Fan]

((They're brown. Unless she's shapeshifted.))

Turtle sets down the cup of chocolate and buries her face against his shoulder, allowing him to hold her, to stroke her hair. Though her mind could not remember any of this, her body felt a sort of somatic deja vu. She didn't understand why he loved her. Why he wanted her enough to battle everything that was keeping them apart. But she knew that he did. She could feel the certainty through the psychic connection that they still shared.

[Fan]

((I figured... Just didn't want to be wrong.. would be embarasing.))
Surpirsed by this, but managing to kepp things in stride Fanboy smiled warmly, and continued the routine of cuddling near a open fire. Brings back memories.

[Me.]

With a wave of his hand, Ryu's chocolate disapates. He then says to the 2, while heading to his room,"Love is the most powerful force ever known. So simple and complex, it can conquer all. Goodnight. By the way," He points above their heads and they will see a branch of mistletoe. He then yawns, walks into his room, and deadtimes.
((Goodnight everyone.))

Well, brings back memories for Fan, anyway.... not everyone on the sofa has memories accessible to them....

Eventually, Fan will probably notice that Turtle has fallen asleep in his arms.

[Fan]

Fan will also eventually fall asleep with turtle in his arms.
((This scene just elects a DAWWW from me.)

And it does, in fact, get exactly that response from Dani when she peeks up over the back of the couch after awhile.
Awwwwww...

She then looks around to see if anybody else is up. She really wanted to talk to Judy more. She was cool.
Or, heck, anybody to talk to.
Dani is definitly a social critter.


Finally she sighs, yawns, curls up in a corner of the couch, and falls asleep.

Judy appears on the couch next to Dani. So, are they back together?

Turtle slowly floated to consciousness, feeling warm and safe and... content. She wasn't sure if that meant she was falling in love or just being clingy, but it didn't seem especially important to find out.

She snuggled against him, breathing the warm scent of him, and she remembered how different it was from when he'd been undead. She grasped at the memory, trying to coax more from it, but that was all.

There must have been more. When he was returned to life, it must have been like discovering the body of a new lover. She could imagine what differences there would have been, but it was imagination only. Not memory. And the thought came to her that even if she did fall in love with him again, that time would be forever lost to her. She'd never know what it had been like to love a vampire.

Still clinging to him, her face hidden against his chest, she wept silently.

Judy appears on the couch next to Dani. So, are they back together?

Dani jumps awake and eeps in surprise. You startled me! She giggles and, for once, speaks quietly. I think they're working on it. It's just tooo cute...

((Might be out a good part of today starting in about half an hour, we'll see.))

[Kaelaroth]

Oh, god, she is back with him, again? Czernov mutters to Dani and Judy, as he heads to the kitchen to get a drink, a touch out of breath, and sweaty, having just had a workout.

[Morty]

I don't really know what she sees in him. But then, women act strangely sometimes. It's none of our business, anyway, Wenomir says, giving Czernov a stern look.

[Kaelaroth]

It is our business, as friends, of hers. She should not be returning to that poisonous cesspit of a relationship. Czernov says, sighing. But, fine. I shall keep out of it. He gets himself a glass of cloudy apple and elderflower juice, and sips it quietly.

[The Bushranger]

Overhearing, Dani just sticks her tongue out at the both of them.

[Kaelaroth]

Do not be so foolish, Dani. Czernov says, sternly. There is no such thing as true love, and what she is going into as far from what it would be if it were real. Their marriage was.. ridiculous.

[Morty]

She's an adult woman. She knows best what's good for her, and our meddling could only make matters worse. In any case, I'm not really an expert on realtionships.

[The Bushranger]

Dani crosses her arms on the back of the couch and glares at them.
There is such a thing. True love and destiny and real. There's only problems when we try to muck around with them and-or try to speed things up.
She's surprisingly intimidating for such a small and tiny girl....

[Morty]

My point precisely. Although I agree with Czernov that true love is a fairy tale.
Wenomir isn't the one to be intimidated by anything without wings and/or additional pair of arms.

[Kaelaroth]

Yes, Dani, that is what I thought. Till it turned out the man I wanted to marry was mind-controlling me, and off screwing my duplicate. Czernov says, deadpan. He's not intimidated, frankly, even if she is scary for her size - he's seen a heckuva lot worse.
