The Avatarist Secret Santa
Its that time of the year again, however due to the absense of many webcomics around here that i would say fit the bill for a guest comic, this here secret santa will be different (although pretty similar to something else we had a while back).
Basically everyone signs up and chooses either an avatar they personally would like to be redrawn or leaves a rough desription of something they want drawn. Everyone is then randomly asigned someone elses avatar to draw in a chistmasy style but it should be done differently (be that style (oots, erf, catmuffin'd or anything), pose or anything else) in a way the avatarist prefers to draw and not just identical to the previous one with a santa hat added on.
Yeah, that basically sums it up. Sign up is open for 1 week, and then after that everyone should be given someone elses to draw for christmas day (or better yet the 23rd so i can pm them out for the 24th).

There's not enough comics ? There is, like, 16 comics on the first page alone !
Anyway, I sign up.

Re: The Avatarist Secret Santa
@ mad mask: Not enough comic refers to the problem we've had every time we've done these before. There will always be someone with a good, strong comic, 2 or so dozen strips at least who ends up being given a strip with 2 comics in it, one of which is a splash page, and has nothing to work on. Therefore i set a limit that only comics with 8+ strips could enter those when i run them, and there are not enough comics for that.
Edit: also, mask and rand, your current avvy's? Or what? We need information!Last edited by onasuma; 2008-11-30 at 04:47 PM.

That green bit is supposed to be a glowstick, which is damned hard to draw so that people can recognize it in an oots style. >.<Last edited by Tiffanie Lirle; 2008-12-01 at 10:44 AM.

Eh, what the hell, in.
Here's the normal Castaras.

Re: The Avatarist Secret Santa
On second thought, I'd like to have something based on my user name. I've always wondered how people would represent it.

Re: The Avatarist Secret Santa
Well, it should be easier than last year's Webcomic Secret Santa, at least
Sign me up!
I know that looks a bit dark on many screens, so if it affects you then try messing with the brightness and contrast.
Not worried about the pose, just as long as its kinda steampunk.
