Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
C'mon, I got $50 dollars worth of muffins and handed them out. I guarantee that you will do cooler things in your time.
Like giving out $60 worth of muffins. That's 20% cooler right there.

And the response!
Hi Daniel,
Sounds like you went on a noble quest. I believe that folks should get free muffins as well! (As long as they are not those ones Applejack helped Pinkie Pie bake.)
I'm glad you enjoy MLP so much. It is a very fun show to write for. I feel very lucky writing for such fun characters.
Have a great day!

Nah, the event was posted on Equestria Daily, and probably made its way over to ponychan if I had to guess.

Frankly, with your expertise, I'm surprised you aren't in the OP as the avatarist yet :P
Trust me, you haven't seen sad Trixie pictures yet
Unladylike? Quite contrary. I just gave her a taste of a real Haute Couture. It's not my fault some Ponies can't handle it

As an artist? Negatory. Any ponytaring is strictly theoretical at this point.

Awww, you're more qualified than the most for the job
Do you want me to post a really sad Trixie picture? ;P

In other news, have you Bronies ever been on Equestria Daily? If so, have you seen the fifth white bar, on the left, under polls, just above 'Pony Toys'?
Yes, it's so good even ponies watch it ;p

Actually... Consider posting colourless templates in various poses, for other people to mess with, perhaps?

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
Oh, that's easy. It's just missing all the important bits like a mane, tail and a cutie mark.
Also, I'm digging around for a reference pose (I have an idea of what to do, but given how long pony legs are, I'm not sure how to pull it off) of a pony in a sitting position. I should be able to wing it from there.
EDIT: Actually found something relevant, but not what I'm looking for:

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
There are ponies and there are griffons? Are their hippogriffs and are they cute?
Also I'm placing a cello here just in case.
What would the cutie mark of someone who's talent is preparednss for disasters even look like?
My other three talents (food snobbery, silly game making, and axe craziness) would probably look just as bad on my flank.Gitp's No. 1 Cake hater

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
I had to check with the rulebook to be sure, but my research indicates you have won. At life.
It would have been hilarious if you signed your letter back "Your faithful student." But maybe that would have been too much.
Also, how sturdy are those Dr. Whoof shoes? I was thinking about getting them but I was hesitant to pay that much money for unexamined shoes off the internet.

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
TrixieGreat and Powerful Trixie, if I could get a mention in the OP that I'm temporarily overloaded with ponytar requests, and thus not taking any more for a little while, that'd be great.
I'm also working on another piece of standalone art, so ZombyWoof's request is on the backburner for the next couple days.
[EDIT]: A little preview: (colors and arrangement subject to change; just a taste of the style I'm going for)
Spoiler
Hopefully the style still leaves it clear enough who that's supposed to be.
Oh, and a question. What would you say is Frank Sinatra's most recognizable visual trait(s)? It could be a pose, a piece of clothing, a color, anything. It just has to scream "Sinatra" when you see it.Last edited by AlterForm; 2011-03-22 at 12:34 PM.

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
Speaking of which, does anyone think it would be possible to make a version of baked bads with ingredients that might work better for muffins? Far be it from me to mess with the original recipe, but would potato starch work better? Maybe club soda or seltzer instead of regular soda?

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
I read your fic on ED and it was awesome and cute. Only suggestion, if you plan on some revision in the future, is to change RD's utterance of "oh crap" to "oh horse apples", that's what they do in the show I believe.

Thank you"
you know, like tracking weather balloons.... it would be interesting and you can be fairly anonymous in this project aside from the initial pony giving.
Only thing is project of this type usually lose some of the items being passed along the way, so I think maybe start out with 10 or more ponies atleast.Last edited by Kairaven; 2011-03-22 at 12:16 PM.

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
In my ceramic class, I was designing a greek helmet. For one of creatures on the helmet: I made a Triunicorn (three prong horn is better than one). I even gave it a cutie mark.
