Zero eventually gets used to it, but not before making sure the tendril was not going to crush him. But seeing how upset Valaria is about him drowning makes him feel a bit guilty, even though it was an accident that he couldn't have done anything about.

Valaira is quite reliant upon Zero at this point.

She associates Zero with food, shelter, warmth, compassion, and happiness! Of course she would be upset that Zero almost drowned!

Though I would say that Valaira detests the bottom of the lake for trying to drown her Zero.

If Zero had drowned, I would expect Valaira to try to blow up the earth so that it couldn't hurt any more people!

"You don't need to be sorry. I'm just glad that you're alright."

The tendril withdraws into the lake and begins to transform back into the various organisms that it was constructed from as Valaira releases Zero from her hug of guilt!

That sort of thing is new to him, he is still getting used to the idea of being a good guy and having people want him around.

What's the plan now? I don't know if you still want to swim.

Zero asks as he tries to dry himself off.

Valaira makes no effort to dry herself off.

She really should dry off, but she refuses to do so, for some reason. The clothes draped over her body are dripping almost as much as her silky, raven black hair.

Valaira really doesn't want Zero to get hurt again, so she suggests that they participate in the second safest activity she can think of,

"Do you want to play a game of chess?"

Zero says as he finishes drying off.

Andy will enter this place seeking for a place somewhere in the mid he get's his rest here.

A shimmer of colour has started circling around so far above the ground that the clouds themselves must be diminutive from that height. Suddenly it dives at astronomically fast speeds. So fast that only magic will stop it from making a large crater and ruining the good view.

Which it promptly does, as the insect-winged humanoid comes to a full stop three metres above ground, quickly jumping down and removing it's goggles before raising it's hand. When the laws of physics finally catches up the moment after, a sheer festival of fireworks shoots up from the Pixie's hand. Neatly off-setting it's colour-changing coat.

"2.1! That's a new record!"

Leodhas Wyllt jumps almost as high as he was stopped in excitement over his entrance, only now noticing his surroundings.

"Woah, what's that?"

Meanwhile, a cloaked humanoid makes it's way to the site, shaking it's head at the show-off behaviour of some Nexusians.

"You don't have to leave, you know. The wedding's open invitation, so it's not like you weren't invited." Rae says, being reasonable, as usual.

"...Really?" Evian considers this for a few seconds. "Well...I haven't got anything else to do for awhile...so sure, I guess I can stay. Oh! But I should introduce myself first. I'm Evian, Queen of the Fey. Pleasure to meet you."

Andy looks up from his place watching the show.

"This is GloG and a wedding is starting soon. You should save the firework for after the wedding."

Reelshka is sitting there, writing something with a frown.

Brinika's plotclone is watching the wedding preparations from a distance, curiously.

Leodhas, or Lewis as he goes by these days, laughs at Andy's remark.

"Newton's laws aren't just jiggery-pokery, man. The universe don't like it when you groove with them for too long"

Giving the strange party.guest a grin he looks up at the tent and gazebo.

"So it's a wedding? Blimey, I'm underdressed!"

The pixie raises his arms and begins forming a circle as he chants.

"Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Sailor, Rich Man, Poor Man, Beggar Man, Thief."

Finishing the chant, his clothes change appearance and soon the pixie is wearing a green bell-bottomed evening dress. His coat seems to be unchanged, though.

"Think this is groovy enough?"

"Don't refere to a man which Laws you brake cause of your born abilitys. They are made for normal beeings with no powers. I don't want to insult you they don't belong to me either since some time, but I dislike it when other think they are related and aren't."

In some way Andy may appear for Lewis as if he just got here from work. He wears a black Lab coat and blue jeans. (His only difference to his normal clothes is the color of the labcoat. Normaly it is white.)

Lewis laugh again and with a mischievous smile begins to fly around Andy, singing all the while.

"Ah, but Newton was a man and more, teaching us the strangest lore. Heed his laws for they are for every man and last forever long, so listen to my pixie song"

Andy's shoes may find themselves enchanted and dancing along to a woodland tune that seems to come from all directions at once. If his powers don't prevent some pixie tricks.

"I can't break his laws, chap. I'd be mighty square if one of the grandest alchemists in centuries didn't know a thing or two about magic"

Lewis says with a grin as he stops upside-down in the air.

Blue is just finishing placing the finishing touches on the magical preparations for the wedding when he notices Andy and Lewis coming in. He grins and puts on a burst of magically-enhanced speed, viciously tacklehugging Andy. "How are you doing, you old rogue?"

"...Really?" Evian considers this for a few seconds. "Well...I haven't got anything else to do for awhile...so sure, I guess I can stay. Oh! But I should introduce myself first. I'm Evian, Queen of the Fey. Pleasure to meet you."

Rae offers his hands for shaking. "Raenir K. Artemi, Blue Lantern, Ex-god, Ex-Denimancy Master, Ex-corporal... You know what, I'm just Rae." He says, smiling.

Lewis is also pounced upon! Trilby missed his friend! "Meow!" He says happily.

Lewis almost drops out of the air as the cat jumps him. laughing in surprise.

"Hey there, Trilby. Meow to you too!"

The jolly Pixie doesn't seem to give it a thought that he doesn't speak cat anymore.

But after all, if he can make a holiday miracle once, he can probably do it again.

Rae offers his hands for shaking. "Raenir K. Artemi, Blue Lantern, Ex-god, Ex-Denimancy Master, Ex-corporal... You know what, I'm just Rae." He says, smiling.

"Charmed." Evian smiles, and shakes very elegantly. "What do you say we get out of the bathroom though? This is starting to feel a bit..."

"Cramped?" Kris says from below as she wiggles closer to the door.

"Well then, let's go play some chess!"

Valaira laughs as she places her small, pale hands on her drenched hips.

She sure cheered up quickly.

She will then attempt to lead Zero back to Maple Cabin.

She has no clue as to where to find a chess set. She could reconfigure and sculpt the organic matter around her into a living chess set, but she doesn't want to frighten Zero with such a superfluous display of power.

It would be great fun playing chess with pieces that actually battled each other. It would add a tangible consequence to each strategic error.

Bad time for Blue Andy tend to avoid dancing by making himself incorparal, which will clearly end Blue in takeling the chair.
Andy looks up.
"Can you stop that pls I'm not..." Then Tribby catched him midair and Blue tackeled his chair. Andy still hovering in sitting position.

"I'm no rogue Blue. Why should I."

Zero will follow Valaria to Maple Cabin.

Zero looks around the drawers of a cabinet looking for the pieces. He eventually finds a board and some pieces.

I found the stuff.

Zero would probably think the power was interesting before he thought it was frightening.

Well, Valaira and Zero probably play a long game of chess, which Valaira probably loses, because she isn't really playing to win.

You're pretty good.

Zero says as he puts the chess pieces back in the proper spots on the chess board.

"Do I detect a bit of sarcasm there, Zero?"

Valaira responds, obviously bored by the trivial game as she juggles the black king, queen, and knights.

No, I wouldn't say something like that.


Zero says, trying to figure out what to do next.

Juggling is a great way to improve hand eye coordination!

"We could make napalm by mixing styrofoam and gasoline."

Valaira chuckles.

"Napalm is lots of fun!"

I'm not sure if she is kidding...

Don't let her near any gasoline or styrofoam! She might burn everything to the ground with fire!

Zero says, he used to have a weapon collection before he escaped his creators.

Though he knows that it would be a bad idea to let Valaria use it.

"Napalm!"

Valaira repeats in an agreeable tone.

"It is really good at burning stuff like vampires and heretics and witches and traitors and idiots and other things I don't like!"

Burning people! She says what we're all thinking!

It reminds me of the 4th of July.

Trilby doesn't care either. His friend Lewis is here and Sir and Other Sir and Lady are gonna be here soon and he has a hat and he's EXCITED.

"Charmed." Evian smiles, and shakes very elegantly. "What do you say we get out of the bathroom though? This is starting to feel a bit..."

"Cramped?" Kris says from below as she wiggles closer to the door.

"... That is a point. Crae, would you?" Rae says, and Crae jumps up. Figuratively, I mean. He waves his hand, the ceiling opens, and the floor raises up to deposit them all onto the roof! Aela then follows this by creating a stairway leading down! "Alright! We're off! ... I think all of us are ready, at least." And then he turns to one of the Lixes hugging him. "Is your sister going to wait here with the you in the dress, or...?"

Blue sits up from the ground, rubbing his head and smiling wryly. "Not a rogue, you say? Come back here and give me a proper hug, will you?"

Yeah, it is a pretty effective weapon.

Zero agrees as he relaxes in his chair.
