It's not worth a video guide, really (and I think I do things differently than most artists) -- it's just a matter of pulling up a thousand references and spending the next few hours eyeballing them as I draw.

Not very long, actually, especially for Faust-style ponies. I started drawing a couple ponies when I became a fan of the show, and they looked funny. Then a friend asked if I could draw for people on this thread. If you've seen the process, it takes a long time for me to get the shapes right sometimes. Yep! It speeds up the process.
