That's not what we meant. There has been some major drama in the past around this, and we just don't want to see it pop up. We're more than happy for a helping hoof, but inflaming it like that is just going to make things flare up again.

Johnny English Reborn is soul-splittingly hilarious. Neither me nor Mum have laughed that much for ages. It's fragging brilliant!

Even the trailers were funny - have you seen the trailer for the lastest Twlight movie? Talk about hilariously inappropriate dramatic music! It's all pseduo Pompeii or whatever, and it's just two people getting married. They were clearly trying for the Deathly Hallows sort of feel; only they apparently have less action in it, than, I dunno, Green is Not Your Colour. If I'd not seen it at the cinema, I've thought it was parody. To make it even funnier, it was followed by the trailer for the Muppets (huzzah!) and Puss in Boots, both of which were more serious-trailer-parodies and both of which actually worked. Hint, Twilight director guys - when you are being upstaged by the Muppets - you need to rethink your stratagy!

First I've seen (FPS are not in my thing). (Though apparently Halo II was a deliberate attempt to flog Vista - that turned out well didn't it.)

Hint, Twilight director guys - when you are being upstaged by the Muppets - you need to rethink your stratagy!

3.) Hire the king of all publicists.
4.) Do something illegal.

Seriously, the only thing that could really compete with the Muppets making a comeback is a gatling-gun barrage of summer blockbusters, IMO. They've got Disney backing and the best example of viral marketing this side of ponies. Plus, they're the Muppets.

Johnny English Reborn's plot is either poorly written, or an amazing parody of poorly written spy movies. I'm leaning towards the latter.
Also, over 90% of everything is being upstaged by My Little Pony. I'm not quite sure if there's a message there, but it's pretty hilarious.

Yeah, this was a pretty badly botched launch. Probably the worst I've ever seen. The SotS team is awesome though and I fully expect that once the game has been patched it will be fantastic. I guess having to wait for Christmas to get it isn't bad thing after all.

Still, I've got SotS I to play before then. To bad it's on my desktop that I have only have access to for 1-2 days every two weeks.

Well, a group of friends (and me) decided to write this Dwarf Fortress/My Little Pony: FiM crossover with a twist.

No violence, just as pure happy fic as possible. If you've heard of Dwarf Fortress, you might guess how this would be a challenge.

It's still in progress (Gotta get an ending together and fix up a few errors in the first part) so any feedback would be welcomed (and is sought). Best bet would be to comment on the story itself.

I ended up playing some games with some friends, and felt a little better in the end, but must have still been a bit under because I had a night of restless sleeping and nightmares (not scary ones, but the kind of ones that depress you with life-affecting things; eg. your boss being replaced with someone you really hate etc)

Anyway, in amongst all the flickering visions of running around fixing things, having to deal with stress from said manager and the like ... I remember one brief scene.

Which makes the plotline of the movie (as far as I understand it) hilariously accurate. Also I don't feel old but instead marvel on how short a decade is or rather how much happens.
