Well, obviously there's someone watching it that isn't me. I'm just in close proximity to it.
Well, it varies a lot within a few general themes, which happens to all be rather depressing in nature. Death, injury, drugs, misery, people being complete jerks toward people that don't deserve it...Clouddreamer Teddy by me, high above the world, far beyond its matters...

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
Indeed. I could move my tablet laptop up to it if I wanted, but I like having it down here in the common areas where I can socialise (i.e. discuss random Internet stuff with little brother).
ION:
Dad goes away on a two-day trip, and our diskstation immediately goes offline, meaning that I can't access my Inkscape projects until we get the connection up and running again. And the timing is even worse than that, because I'm terribly restless (I'm probably coming down with a cold), and am desperate for something to constructive to do.
I think I'll head out on an early night walk, and try to troubleshoot the diskstation when I come home again (assuming littlest brother has been chased away from the computer it resides under by then).Last edited by Teddy; 2012-05-11 at 03:32 PM.

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
I was pretty tired when it finished, but I wasn't sweating or anything. It was actually sort of nice because they gave us an extended lunch and my school has an open lunch, so everyone who took the test all went out to this one restaurant and stuffed their faces. Which honestly only made me more tired,in the nice way though, and it was a really good way to blow off steam. I'm thinking I got a solid 4, though I could see me getting a low 5.
I felt that as the test progressed, I did worse. The Multiple Choice, I think, went pretty well. The DBQ also wasn't bad, I used over half the Documents and I did a good job working in outside facts. The FRQs are where things started to fall apart. The first FRQ wasn't the best, but it could have been worse while the second just felt awful. I dunno' though. I dunno'.

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
I guess we're kind of a feeling contrast; I felt pretty good on the Multiple Choice questions, like our USH End of Course Exam (Do you have those? May be a state thing) was a good practice for fast choosing, but I could not have asked for a better line up of essays to write. Every DBQ document used, and a plethora, a plethora I say of outside information (a lot of it was information I garnered from my own studies on the time period out of class, so it's actually kind of a pride thing for me, too). I wasn't 100% sure about the last Free Response, at first, but once I got into it it was less of a race against time (finished with eight minutes spare) and more the feel you get from writing a conventional essay. Still, the essays were overall a strong point for me and I felt really good about them. Walked out feeling like a champ. Today's been a really good day overall, actually.
I'm sure you'll score great. Just to ask, how many practice DBQs/essays did you do throughout the year leading up to the exam? I was feeling really worried that we didn't do enough in my class to get me ready for it, and especially when I actually ran out of time on the last FRQ during our mock exam, but like I said I felt really good about it in the end.
*sigh of relief* Oh man, I am so glad the worrying about that test is over. I can't remember nearly as much stressing about the AP Euro exam last year.
...Oh man, it's been a year since that already? Jeez, time flies.Last edited by Cobalt; 2012-05-11 at 07:35 PM.

Well, I feel like I actually did good on my Alg test. Means nothing when the seniors are spazzing out about their AP tests, but still.

Man, I really do not like online courses.
Then again, I am terrible at prioritizing, so it's mostly my own fault.
Ah well.

Well THAT was an exhausting day.
On the plus side, I only have 3 exams left, and only 2 days left in which to do these exams. Monday, and then whatever the 22nd is.

All I can say is... I hope that that picture is photoshopped or that that eye is fake.
Because I'd probably try and get the bee out of my, causing it to sting, and then I'd go blind in that eye and have to wear sunglasses everywhere.

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII
It depends on what you mean by End of Course Exam, we did had our final on Monday and Tuesday, but if you don't mean final, than no, it must be a state thing. And the final certainly is good practice for the actual APUSH exam. I don't think I've ever gotten close to using every document when writing a DBQ. I usually only get in about 4, so I was pretty happy I worked in 6. And looking back on it, I don't think I did as bad as I thought on the last FRQ. I was sort of freaking out at the end. Probably panicking over nothing..,
I'm sure you'll score great.

I don't really find it that hard. Given, it's more unpleasant to touch the cornea rather than the whites, and you should keep your fingers wet and avoid moving your eye while touching it if you want to avoid any unnecessary irritations.
The only practical use for this is for getting loose eyelashes and other stuff out of your eyes.Last edited by Teddy; 2012-05-12 at 10:12 AM.
