Re: League of Legends XXXIX: Harrowing in the Playground
*walks in*
These Skarner nerfs suck (why the hell is he being nerfed in the first place?).
*walks out*I've started streaming again.

I'm actually more concerned with the rengar nerfs. I didn't notice that Thrill Of The Hunt was having its duration cut down.

Re: League of Legends XXXIX: Harrowing in the Playground
I am a huge fan of the ezreal nerf. They got rid of the main thing that made him so absurdly strong in laning, without killing his core concepts or nerfing his ability to be an AD carry.

Re: League of Legends XXXIX: Harrowing in the Playground
Rengar got smacked into another dimension with the nerfbat.
Thank god, I can actually go top again.
EDIT: That being said: Seriously? Sona now has less health at lvl 1 than a melee minion. I'll try her in a few normals after patch and see exactly how squishy she is. If she's constantly just a liability, I'll refund her and learn Trollcrank.
I honestly think that her lack of escape and her even more lowered toughness is going to make a lot of teams take chances to nail that first blood. Warding will have to be perfect, as will map awareness, or you're going to fail.Last edited by McDouggal; 2012-10-24 at 10:12 PM.

Re: League of Legends XXXIX: Harrowing in the Playground
Skarner was really, really powerful and his ult was stupid and unintuitive/buggy.
Rengar nerfs... are fine, I think. His ult is still perfectly functional but less forgiving and this might actually give me the chance to play him. Perma-bans are rough. :[
Ezreal nerf is the greatest.

Re: League of Legends XXXIX: Harrowing in the Playground
Are we playing different champions? Seemed pretty easy for me to pick up. Point and click on champion - low elo
Point and click on squishy champion - mid elo
Flash, Point, Click on ADC and kill.
Will grant you the buggy part. Things like catching a flash or dash did need to be fixed.Last edited by LordShotGun; 2012-10-24 at 10:33 PM.

yes trundle was touched... in a very minor way that don't even get to rate at QoL. Passing blue is slightly easier now... unfortunately mobility creep still gives him a real tough time.

Skarner nerfs?
edit- I agree to the bug fix on his ult, but just hope it doesn't mean Voli fling is getting the same treatment. But his W nerf hurts both his always fite and his never dieLast edited by MCerberus; 2012-10-24 at 11:01 PM.

Re: League of Legends XXXIX: Harrowing in the Playground
They're really not that tragic.
The shield nerf typically won't matter, except for hurting his already less-than-great sustain on first clear. Otherwise in his early game, he wouldn't really have it up twice in the same fight anyway, and late game, it gets down to about 1.4s.Avatar by Assassin89

Re: League of Legends XXXIX: Harrowing in the Playground
Essence Flux is now officially boring. They need to come up with some carrier effect for it or Ezreal has two different skillshot nukes that do nothing (okay, it still buffs allied attack speeds but that's by far the less relevant effect of the two since it's predominantly used against enemies outside object fights).

Re: League of Legends XXXIX: Harrowing in the Playground
I think that's asking for a bit much. I'd be fine with his W being more interesting if he didn't:
- have a 50% attack speed steroid
- have 550 attack range
- have the ability to apply on-hits at 1100 range
- have a low-cooldown blink with more range than flash
- have a global ultimate nuke
Something had to go, don't you think? Maybe his debuff wasn't the best option. I was hoping that they'd just hit his passive/E pretty significantly, but anything that makes him less dominant is welcome.

Maybe if W stuck to doing negligible damage, it could retain the full utility. But as it was? No.

Re: League of Legends XXXIX: Harrowing in the Playground
Lee Sin frustrates me almost every time I see him. He's so tanky AND does so much damage, with the amount of mobility and debuffing he has. There's something sincerely disturbing about seeing him running around with four thousand health and 300 damage.
On an entirely unrelated note, Jayce.Last edited by Eurus; 2012-10-25 at 01:18 AM.

Re: League of Legends XXXIX: Harrowing in the Playground
So, I tried a full split push to win game with some friends yesterday. I'm AP Nasus, pushing top, killing a turret...uh oh. Here come Nunu and Corki! "You're dead" they say. "You underestimate the power of AP Nasus" I say. It sounded fairly undramatic, since I had spent most of the game getting 5-man ganked and dying horribly so someone could continue split pushing another lane.
Oh, AP Nasus, I love being able to 1v2 at 3/4 HP and get a double.
