Re: Warframe In the Playground
Tiberon is fine. Not an endgame weapon but it hits about the same DPS as Braton Prime, so it's what you could consider a Tier 2 weapon. It's also the highest DPS burst weapon in the game so if you like the style, you'll probably want to get it anyways. It starts with one useful polarity so it's not terrible without Forma either.

Re: Warframe In the Playground
You're still getting it, I promise. It's just apparently really difficult to on at the same time as you and I've been working every day since my vacation which further restricts when I can be on. I'm also working every day until next Friday. I'll get it to you eventually.
Edit: Also, provided your location entry is accurate, we're about 5 or 6 time zones off from each other, which doesn't help, I'm sure.Last edited by Krade; 2015-04-19 at 11:37 AM.

Re: Warframe In the Playground
I'll go ahead and add you to the clan then.
Honestly, the 75% is practically mythical. I see it pop up during rotation, but unless you purposely only log in every other day, you're not going to see it.
If you are in a clan, I would add torid to the practical end game primary weapons category. You need a vortex Vauban to go with it, but it has native toxin damage, a stupid inherent dot mechanic, amazing status chance, and a respectable base damage, too. Super cheesy, super fun.

Re: Warframe In the Playground
Yeah I'm not blaming you. I already assumed our time zones just don't overlap well. By the way while I don't have a Reactor I do have a tradeable (I assume it is, I built it from a blueprint I got from a tac-alert) Catalyst I could give you as a down payment.
Well I decided I will buy some plat once it comes up, so if it doesn't it's on them.

So, I've attempted two separate raid attempts now only to have both fail when our only trinity or host DC during the first segment.

Re: Warframe In the Playground
I haven't played it yet. Or looked into what needs to be done in it and when. But I have built a couple of keys and I have all of the Frames and all of the Mods (that matter, anyway) and enough top-tier weaponry that I'm certain I could fill any necessary role. Just need to know what needs to be done.

Re: Warframe In the Playground
I've got a Limbo now. It's...interesting. There's not nearly as much hate of him now, possibly because his abilities have been fine-tuned to allow easy escape/cancellation and people in general are more familiar with what he does and how.
I still end up giving a little "tell me if there's something I do that annoys you" speech before starting a long-running game like Defense, just in case.
How do you guys prefer your teammate Limbo to work, setting aside the obvious Limbo-Mesa combinations?

Re: Warframe In the Playground
Usually, I put down a mark. If you want to be banished, prostate thyself upon the Altar of Warframe Satan.
I don't generally use Cataclysm for the control unless I'm on voice comm with at least 2 teammates, but it's a solid nuke on earlier stages (and great for mobile defense). It's also an amazing boss killer, because you use Riftwalk, Rift Surge, and then Cataclysm the boss. Then unload a high dps weapon into them (I've killed Lephantis heads in one spawn. Solo).
For mobile defense, Nyx/Limbo is one of the best combos. Limbo drops Cata on the objective, and when it's about to end, nyx uses absorb around it while Limbo puts it back up.I follow a general rule: better to ask and be told no than not to ask at all.

Re: Warframe In the Playground
I vastly prefer Volt/Limbo. Electric Shield does the same and also enables shooting to normal space from Cataclysm with hitscan weapons (and interacts particularly well with beam weapons and is a huge buff for crit weapons). And if I'm doing Excavation or Mobi Def, Speed makes running through the map less tedious.

Re: Warframe In the Playground
Eh, this is just me remembering back to when Fenrys and I were attempting to cheese T3/T4 MD. Nyx was the only halfway decent frame I had, and it was just after he got Limbo. So we would spawn in, he'd banish me, grab the datamass, and sprint to the computer. If he dropped, I'd revive him. Once we got there, we would use the combo, not to kill things, but to make the datamass invulnerable (damage was always blocked by either Cata or Absorb)
I follow a general rule: better to ask and be told no than not to ask at all.

Re: Warframe In the Playground
Yeah, it certainly work for that; two strong defender frames complete with some crowd control = you'll never give anyone a window to destroy the terminal. I just love the beautiful synergy between Volt and Limbo so I bring it up at every turn Mesa and Limbo work too of course.

Re: Warframe In the Playground
Playing more Archwing. Got the Rathbone completed. Only need 2 Decurion Barrels and I've got everything from the Corpus Sabotage missions. Then I can go on to the Interceptions. Haven't done one of those since I got Itzal. Should be fun with this level of mobility.

Re: Warframe In the Playground
Uh... did they buff the argon crystal drop rates in U15? I'm running some mobile defense for Rhino p while waiting for u16, and I've been getting a crystal per run. I have 8 now.
I'm not sure what I should do with these. I have most of the stuff already, and I only need 2 for Chroma tomorrow.Avatar of Rudisplork Avatar of PC-dom and Slayer of the Internet. Extended sig

Re: Warframe In the Playground
For a (short) while I was making spare Incubator Power Cores with them. Then I got up to 10 of them and realized that it wasn't a terribly productive use for them and I still have 4 of them left. I already have 1 of each breed of kubrow (2 of them with Lotus). I still raise a new one whenever I find an egg, but I don't spend a lot of time on Earth so it's few and far between.
Other than that, you could start trying to make everything that requires them before they decompose (assuming you don't have them all already). There isn't really much more to say.
Still think it's annoying as hell that they degrade like that. So unless you make sure you're doing enough void missions to keep a steady supply, you're guaranteed to need to do extra farming when they release a new weapon that requires it (which is like half of them).Awesome avatar by Kurien.

Re: Warframe In the Playground
Yeah, I've farmed a ton of them before, which is one of the reasons this is so distressing. I went 6 Mobile Defense I missions to get the Rhino p helm, and I got 6 argon crystals to go with the remaining 2 I had leftover from the T4 survival I did.
Going down the list, I have:
(Dragon) Nikana
Kronen
Atterax
Amprex
Kohm
Angstrum
Mirage
Gammacor
Redeemer.
Anything worth it at that point? Aside from Chroma, I building that tomorrow.Avatar of Rudisplork Avatar of PC-dom and Slayer of the Internet. Extended sig

Re: Warframe In the Playground
I wouldn't worry about it. If you play Void regularly, you'll be swimming in them and even if you need 'em, you can go do whatever and get them as extras. The thing about Argons is that while they might seem rare, nothing actually requires that many of them - 3 at most. So it's one T4Inter/Surv/Defense and you'll have all you need - and you probably want to play some T4Inter/Surv/Def for prime parts anyways. However, you seem to have some worthwhile Argon Holes to fill. Out of that list tho, Mirage is the first thing I'd recommend: she's a riot to play and just excellent all-around; buffing, CC, damage, you name it, she does it (but in a somewhat interactive manner). Amprex, Angstrum, Kohm and Dragon Nikana are all great weapons so I could equally recommend any of them.

Yep, I know. Cuz that's the list of stuff I own. :P
I dislike the amprex, though. It eats through ammo much to quickly for my tastes. D:Avatar of Rudisplork Avatar of PC-dom and Slayer of the Internet. Extended sig
