Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
FF tactics Lancer and yellow Chocobo, nice choice Fayt. I was actually gonna use a lancer myself, but I decided the sprite sheet didn't have enough poses. *shrugs*

Best, game, ever. I still haven't completed it actually.. I always tend to start over when I get towards the 3rd act.Last edited by Tiffanie Lirle; 2008-05-28 at 04:57 PM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
after a violent fight with fireworks I am returning to inkscape. though i may use fireworks from time to time. I dont regret it too much especially cause I was able to make templates for two characters in ten minutes.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
PLEASE, Q.
I will post a comic soon, but it'll be kind of simplistic, since it'll be using a simplified Nath.
ACtually, I'll just put him off panel.
Also, will any of the crew on Fort longcat come with us? Don't worry right away (you'll understand after the comic is finished) but you will need to make up your mind.Last edited by Squark; 2008-05-28 at 06:44 PM.

Five pages in one day?
CURSE YOU PIXEL WARS!
*shakes fist*
I motion that Pixel Wars be given its own separate thread. Because archiving FFF is difficult enough already.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
Dude, I archive Pixel Wars. Don't worry about it. Check my sig. See? It's right there, under the dedication to Lavidor for my avatar!
P.S:What? I don't make my own sprites! I get them from the internet!
I just put the name of the character, plus "Sprite sheet" in google images, and WHAMO! You get your sprite sheets!
But Nameless amkes his own sprite, but he also posted it around here somewhere. I'm sure you can find it if you look hard enough.Last edited by Green-Shirt Q; 2008-05-28 at 09:10 PM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
Oh, I know. That's not what I meant. Archiving FFF is a complicated process, what with all its loose threads. Having a bunch of comics that I don't archive means I'm more likely to get careless and skip a comic. If PW keeps going this quickly, it's also going to spread the FFF comics over more pages, which makes it that much harder to put them in the necessary order.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
I'd say... no. Pixel wars deserves to be in the ABR thread. It fits the original spirit of ABR. If anything, FFF should have its own thread.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
Either way, if they're in the same thread, archiving is going to be a lot more annoying. Same thread for discussion is fine with me.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
No, but I don't really see why Pixel Wars should be considered any less deserving of being in ABR than FFF.
The introductory post of ABR reads:
The complete randomness and killing of Pixel Wars fits ABR.
I didn't notice you complaining when P3 and SDSB were active.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
Just finished this with fireworks. I'm pretty happy with it. Fireworks is pretty awesome, I don't think I could have pulled that off with inkscape. Thanks nameless for inspiring me to make the switch. Your tutorial was a nice help to get me going.
I have noticed that there isn't allot of action going on in fort long cat. Do those up there object to us getting back down to the action?Last edited by Narrator; 2008-05-29 at 01:40 AM.

I motion that Pixel Wars be given its own separate thread. Because archiving FFF is difficult enough already.
However I can see a problem arising when theres 10 new pages to filter through for Fff comics to add to the archive. Mostly due to the easy nature of creating sprite comics. Being able to make comics so quickly will also huuuugely reduce the life span of your average Abr thread.
Making a new thread for sprite comics and sticking with the discussion thread seems to be a good idea. Now it just has to be seen as to who's going to make it.
Edit- Here ya go Nameless.
