Oh yes, it's a quite useful class in a society like ours, were you don't usually walk around armed with a longsword or morninstar or the like, making fighters practically useless..

He's a young adult (62 years old) green dragon, through and through. In his human form, he masquerades as some combination of Sorcerer/Dragon Disciple/Ranger (He changes it up. )

Tinder is actually a terrible spellcaster; he can barely manage cantrips, and can only hold 1st-level spells for a couple of rounds. Anything of a higher level is simply beyond him. His battle tactics revolve around strategy, diplomacy, stealth, and finally brute force.

According to the MM, he casts as a 3rd-level Sorcerer. Not very impressive.

In Glorantha, the flagship world for RuneQuest, the elves were (are?) actually plant beings.

Trolls could eat anything and had three different stomachs - rock, plant, and meat. Humans were processed in the meat stomach, the elves were processed in the plant stomach and dwarves in the rock stomach. And yes, trolls could subsist on air, but this produced horrible flatulence...
