After paying the peppers and bagging them into his saddle bag he cantered over to a stall selling fresh bottles of cider.

"Hey sweetie, would ya mind a bottle of cider as part of dinner?" Fox asked though his eyes seemed to want her to say 'yes'.

"Fox, I..." She caught the look in his eyes. "... I wouldn't mind at all," Icy finished, smiling a little.

Garion found himself suddenly engulfed in a sea of fluffy cloth. No wurm, no wagon, no sky, just pitch-darkness in the wake of that bright light. He tried to move a hoof to rub the spots from his eyes, but the cloth had tangled itself around his legs. And even as the spots dimmed, the darkness remained. "Miss Gwyn?" called out the colt worriedly. "Miss Gwyn, where'd you go? Why're all the lights out? Why can't I move?"

"...Miss Gwyn?"

As the two ponies embraced, a bright flash of light came from a nearby closet, followed by a muffled voice and the sounds of a struggle.

"Fox, I..." She caught the look in his eyes. "... I wouldn't mind at all," Icy finished, smiling a little.

He grinned and pecked her cheek as he made his purchase of the cider and then afterwards purchased the rest of the ingredients and a lb of corn tortillas leaving his saddle bags sagging a bit.

"Oh no no...I'm not going to trouble you, heck, if you need me to carry anything I'll be glad to do so," He said with a weary smile. Don't listen to him Icy and his reasoning!

The noises from the closet did not stop. On the contrary, they seemed to get a bit louder and a lot more frantic...

"Miss Gwyn? Mister Grills? Where are you?! I'm stuck!!!" cried out Garion. Miss Gwyn wasn't coming, Mister Grills wasn't coming, nopony was coming. What was going on?! "Somepony! Anypony! Hellllllllllllp! Go get Miss Gwyn and tell her I need hellllllllllllp! Please!!!"

The cloths around his face grew damp with tears.

The shovel fell from Sandy's limp grasp.

His jaw fell slack, and one could almost smell the smoke from his short-circuiting brain. "That...but that doesn't work...mirrors don't....non-magical mirrors don't...b-but it did...and it shouldn't have...and...arghhhhhhh..." Sandy flopped onto his haunches, cradling his poor, aching head.

Just when he thought he was used to this place, some new weirdness had to come along and shatter a little piece of his vision of reality.

"That's right, Silk Scarf! We beat those nay-sayers and their 'rules' with our wonderful insight yet again!"

They laughed, laying their forehooves on each other's shoulders.

"Why don't we go inside somewhere and get a drink -- victor's treat!"

They've apparently decided that this was some sort of duel all along. They patted him on the back.

When Gearstride heard the loud yelling of what sounded like a foal, she fell the bed in surprise. She dismissed it earlier since she couldn't hear much but now the audio was much too loud and clear to just dismiss.

She picked herself up and rubbed her chin with a slight groan. "Ow....anyways...Gwyn?..Grills?...Hey..Grills...ai n't he that restaurant owner who was with ya on yer boy's night out?"

She made her way to the closet door and cautiously opened it, and then she raised a brow at the sight in there.

The fact that their mysterious visitor mentioned Gwyn and Grills put him a little at ease; at least they know who to ask.

Sandy stared dumbly at the magical shovel that had no right to be magical. He dimly recalled the events of the last night that sent him out to the beach in the first place. Together, the two formed one, definitive conclusion;

I-It's nice *sniffle* to meet you." Garion looked about the room, confusion and worriment evident on his face. "I-I don't know, where's here? Where's...where's Miss Gwyn?"

Just the thought brought fresh aches of loneliness, and the colt hugged Silverpine tightly.

Garion nodded furiously and clung tightly to the pegasus' back. Although, a thought nagged at him; something about going to see Mister Grills. But no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't place it...

And so the three were off to the Bits and Credit thread as the three would pass a certain duo of ice blue and reddish brown. Gearstride glanced them for a split second, wondering if things were all patched up.

Though rather than annoy, she just have them a greeting nod and was on her way.

Fox blinked but his body was already still in a forward moving momentum, and Gear and them were long gone before he could return the nod. Anyways, the two made their way to the kitchen where he plopped the bags he had on the table and collapsed in a chair.

"Phew....glad to make here before my limbs turned to noodles," He said with a tired smile.
