Re: OOTS #1103 - The Discussion Thread
Huh, Roy didn't think this through too hard, huh? Anything the OotS can do THROUGH the Forcecage?
And looks like Sandstone, at least, is an outright Thrall?
Also-also, Scruffy's eyes aren't shut...Last edited by Reboot; 2017-10-26 at 02:18 PM.

Re: OOTS #1103 - The Discussion Thread
And so the question about the Sandstone Vampire is answered...
Each one of us, alone, is but a drop in the sea
Our powers pale compared with the great heroes
Our battles don’t hit theheadlines or shake the earth
But they are few, can’t be everywhere, and we, many
So, when the world or universe needs saving, they come
But when people needs saving, we are the ones to appear
We're underdogs, but we rise up to the challenge to be heroes.

Re: OOTS #1103 - The Discussion Thread
So even the higher level dude got vamped and insta-ressed? I guess that throws another theory off the book then.
Damn this is so stupidly broken.

Roy, did you smack your head on a door frame off panel or something? Youre usually a little quicker on the draw than that.

Re: OOTS #1103 - The Discussion Thread
I wonder if vampires can fake being corpses (complete with x_x eyes and regaining the victim's original color palette) or if the Negative Energy spirits were able to put the insta-vampirization on hold and thus that was a one time thing. Or if that was just a visual choice for the sake of the twist.

Re: OOTS #1103 - The Discussion Thread
I love coming to this post about a week after the comics up to see people reacting, and then see the characters do something similar but not quite. While adressing the not so inspired ideas.
I love what this webcomic's story has become. Awesome work.

Re: OOTS #1103 - The Discussion Thread
Hahaha, hilarious page. Also yes, Sandstone is up. He's also seeming to be about the most advanced vampire aside from the clerics of Stone and Durkon* himself.
Even the wind will know agony.

How the hell are they getting out of this mess?
A father taken by time, a brother dead by my own hand.
With this work behold my grief, in Stone and shifting sand.

Jeez, I haven’t been this worried about them since the fight where Durkon got vamped.

Re: OOTS #1103 - The Discussion Thread
I wonder if Sandstone's comment about "escaping to another plane" is an indicative of his capacity to cast Plane Shift (which would mean he's at least 9th level), or if it's just a bluff.

Great Cleave still seems like a good solution to the problem.

Re: OOTS #1103 - The Discussion Thread
Please not this again, round one was tedious enough.
Yeah Roy is not on his best here.
Why do you think Sandstone is a thrall ? He seems way more intelligent than Thrall!Durkon* and the Exaargh also calls the Thorsaken "Master".
Also anyone else got creeped out by Sandstone*'s suggestion ? Sounds like he is exploiting a crush Minrah had on Sandstone. Yeesh.Forum Wisdom

Re: OOTS #1103 - The Discussion Thread
Hmm ... according to the rules, the Forcecage automatically fails if at least one of the creatures inside is too big to fit ... and Belkar does have Bloodfeast with him ...

Re: OOTS #1103 - The Discussion Thread
Scruffy still has his eyes open. Maybe that will become relevant.
