That's 'cause fey are cool. There's so many fey that are associated with music and arts: probably every glaistig, water sprite, and leanan sidhe are music-oriented. Gnomes, though...are a type of fairy, too, but they aren't so hot at music.

...I can't say I see the appeal, but it seems pretty clear what week it's going to be at this point.

I'm not crazy about the concept forum user themed weeks. It came up once before with a 'Running Away from Lix' week that came close to being chosen. It feels too much like it could become a popularity contest. But if that's where the votes go... *shrugs*

Oh, it's not themed after me, it's a week about Gnomes, which is why I'm excited about it (A forum full of people my height? FINALLY). I'm sure some folk will associate gnomes with me and just turn into me for a week, but that wasn't the week's intention >.>
