Some people on Goblins forum seems to wonder if:
    - The room shrinks when you close the ring
    - MM's finger shrinked when he wore the ring
    - That kind of thing

Seems to me that since Fumbles can hold the entrance closed from inside, his side of the portal shrinked with the ring. He also managed to bite MM's finger so it means he wasn't facing a giant finger. Both things seem to indicate that only the size of the entrance can change.
And Fumbles isn't complaining about stability while MM moves a lot.

So I guess that you can indeed store poisonous sharp things without much risk.

i mean he can open the door mid freefall yea, don't think it'd do much though.
Isn't the idea of throwing rings into lava copyrighted or something?

Maybe he did shrink, and he just used his increased to-hit to do one nonlethal damage with his bite?

look at Minmax's finger in the final pannel there. there is a clearly normal-sized bitemark around his finger. Fumbles wouldn't be able to fit his entire finger in his mouth if he was shrunken down to ring-size. most likely only the entrance shrinks.

If the insides scaled with the opening then the opening would still be large enough for fumbles. Also holding it closed would make little sense.

I wonder whether they'll try the axe against the wall. That might clarify a lot, or the wall might just go "Major demons? Nope, that's not coming anywhere near me."

A paladin becomes aware of the axe's purpose, history and abilities as soon as he came in contact with it, whether corporeal or not.

The dialog between Ears and the Flea Demon is odd considering this text. But the wall should not learn more about the axe itself.

I think the very start of the history is deliberately a lie by omission - it's technically true, but dumping all that on a paladin means they aren't inclined to cross check it, and work out that it's actually a trojan horse for the demon, and should be delivered to Hell as soon as possible.

The wall on the over hand, might be more objective, similar to an identify spell.

Honestly I find the trick very hard to do:
    - Demons tricks paladins and clerics into believing they're going to escape hell and invade the world (why not)
    - Paladins and clerics goes in Hell to destroy them there (can be done)
    - Demons win the fight and curses Kore (ok)
    - The curses makes Kore creating The Axe of Prissan (wait, how?)
    - Kore brings it on Earth and somehow loses it (why? how?)

It's really hard for me to believe that a curses makes a Paladin create an item that will not do what he thinks it will, with an explication on how not open the path for the Demon and that kind of stuff.

I prefer to think that Ears really sucks with conclusions.

wouldn't be surprised if the infodump the axe gives is less a lie by omission and closer to a complete lie with hints of truth to be honest. Reguardless the wall only seems to describe what the item is / does, not it's history at all. might just say "if you break this thing, the world will become hell"

Maybe, just maybe, the trap was meant to be a temporary ride but things went wrong. I theorize Kore's curse was likely meant to cause him to do evil unto others and unwittingly release the demons within. Given the path Kore has taken thus far it seems like it would have worked, but Kore lost the axe somehow.

Some support for this. The axe-weilder Mryorg the Ogre used the axe for evil for almost a full year. when he passed on the axe to a paladin. "The Demon's screams that mryorg felt in his mind as he walked away - were indeed, delicious."

the demons WANT to be freed, they ARE trapped in there. but since we know they came from hell and made this thing intentionally to bring them to the prime material, it does seem likely it wasn't supposed to last this long. it's like going into a car to drive to new york, but then once you get to new york you get stuck in gridlock for twenty years and can never leave your car.

They might not have had much choice. The portal might require a lot of evil to open.

Is it just me or does Vorpal have a lazy eye? His right eye seems to always have a larger pupil than the left eye, and they often seem to be focusing at different points. Which doesn't seem true for the other characters. Is this coincidental, or does anyone know if it's on purpose?

Ok, these two need to just make out and get it over with. The sexual tension is unbearable! (Thats how sexual tension works in stories, right? Two guys who hate each other secretly want to bone? Thats how it works in fanfiction at least.)
