Maggy hasn't been able to sleep properly. That Lexi girl kept talking and screaming with her friends in the room next door, so Maggy was now like a zombie. Thankfully her first class was history, she could to catch up with her sleep. She walked for the classroom, pillow in hand.

Hm. I don't think Lex-Kat's a good target today. Her lack of posting makes me think she got Magic Mushroomed, and I don't like lynching people who can't defend themselves.

After the interesting discovery, the girls of St. Trinian’s slowly make their way towards breakfast, in some cases at the crack of noon. Some seem happy to sleep through the day, which is considered deeply suspicious by their classmates. However, by the end of the day a consensus has been reached. They gather round the perky cheerleader Lexi.

“All this yelling... I was trying to sleep.”
“It kept me up all night. Had to catch up in History.”
“Hey, she isn’t really saying anything to defend herself. Should we really do this?”
“Too late to think of that now.”

However, it seems Lexi has an ace up her sleeve. The mob have her backed against... a window. She quickly slips out, and down a convenient drainpipe to safety.

Without a target, the mob breaks up.

That is correct. I've seen other games use a similar idea (authority figure's vote counts multiple and breaks ties). I'll admit I didn't think about the tie-break bit ahead of time, but I'm pretty sure that's what I'll do if it comes up.

Lexi's crying can be heard from one end of the school to the other, and it doesn't look like she will stop for the entire night. No one will get much sleep tonight, and they all deserve it!

Hmm-mm. A villager-sided role wouldn't ever create a daybane, since a nightbane is much more useful and harms the bad guys, not us.

A villager-sided role would also have told us she's being protected beforehand, to avoid wasting the lynch, if she'd have done it.

...I'm very much not convinced of your innocence by this, Lexi.
