Re: Kasanip's Sketchbook
Even yesterday seemed a bad day.
But today it was a happy day for me. Even some sketching was made.
Spoiler
Spoiler
Thank you! Please come soon!
Thank you! I must study harder.
I don't like competition. I just hope sketches can be enjoyed. I should try to make English comic maybe.
I should ask for advice and comment on sketch more. Maybe it is just hobby sketching, but to become better, I must practice. If it is not troublesome, it is a small survey:
- What do you think is "strong point" of sketches?
- What do you think is "weak point" of sketches?
- What is your favorite sketch?
- What kind of sketch would you like to see?

Re: Kasanip's Sketchbook
1: They look good all around. But I'd say that the strongest point is that they're very expressive.
2: I can't really find a weak point.
3: My favorite sketch would have to be the one you made for me.
4: Any and all kinds of sketches.

Re: Kasanip's Sketchbook
I like all of your art, so I'm scared I'd be saying the same things over and over if I was posting regularly. I'll try and post more in the future though.
As for the survey:
1. I like how your drawings have a certain sense of honesty to them, I guess. Something about their style makes me feel warm and happy (or conveys sadder emotions, for ones like that Ama sketch a few posts back, but those are good things to feel too). Also lots of them are really cute!
2. Some of them have a fairly unfinished feel to them, but since they're just your sketches I guess that's alright. Do you have many more developed artworks? I'd like to see things like that (as long as you have time for them though!)
3. Hmm, I'd need to look through the thread again to decide. I do really like the ones with Mir though, she always makes me feel peaceful.
4. Hmm, maybe more cute drawings, they always brighten my day!
I'm glad to hear today was better. I hope things go well from now on!Awesome Iron Chef avatars by Neoseph7! Murkrow avatar of coolness by Introbulus!Spoiler

Re: Kasanip's Sketchbook
1) Great expressions. Cute style.
2) You hesitate to draw legs a lot.
3) My favourite sketches... Probably your drawings of Matapa.
4) More full-body drawings. Showing off an entire character. Also, backgrounds!
You're doing great Kasanip! I look back at what you were sketching two years ago and you're improving a lot. It just doesn't seem like it to you.

Re: Kasanip's Sketchbook
1. Your sketches are very clean and look very professional, that is a big strong point. I also agree with the expressions and everything else said, your sketches are just great!
2. Weak point? Uhm, I don't know... I guess the lack of full-body features could be a weak point.
3. I love all of your sketches, but The BleachITP Reborn one and your drawing of Tomoya are probably my favourites by a little bit.
4. Hmm, something dynamic? It would be interesting to see some battle-poses in your style.Treasured Quotes

Re: Kasanip's Sketchbook
Thank you everyone for your answers! It is very helpful for me.
I want to say, always everyone makes interesting requests for me. Even if a request is not shown, probably it was useful for me to try. So if you have idea, please always say it!
I want to work on these idea, so I will try to draw more sketch with such a theme. I want to draw more finishing, but there is no time right now. Maybe at winter vacation time I can do such a thing. So it must be sketch.
It is swim sketch! It is good advice, I must work on show entire character pictures.
Spoiler
Try 'dynamic' but it fails I think.

Re: Kasanip's Sketchbook
1st pic. Fairly good, middle girl's arms kinda blended into the girl of the left's side, maybe make the water level a bit more shaded?
2nd pic. Not dynamic yeah, but pretty good if she was just kneeling on the ground, I think the problem is that she's leaned too far back and not looking where she's jumping (assuming jumping is what you were aiming for), I like the armor you used here.If you want a OotS style Touhou avatar, send me a request.

Re: Kasanip's Sketchbook
1st picture - It always makes me happy to see sketches like these that you do in a cute style! The water surface is hard to clearly see, though; I somehow didn't notice they were actually in the pool and not just on some bench by the poolside until the third or fourth time I looked at it.
2nd picture - This one does have an interesting pose, but I'd agree that it's not totally clear what she's doing - for pictures like these it might help to include a simple background just to show if she's kneeling or jumping, for instance.High School Harem Comedy, my original game system!

What do you get when you cross Kasanip's amazing sketching talent with my mediocre Inkscape coloring abilities? I'm not entirely sure, but I'm totally in love with it. @_@

Re: Kasanip's Sketchbook
ahh Kasanip you are so cute. Thank you for your kind words and I'm glad the video was helpful.
The girls in the pool picture look a bit awkward but I think looking at some real people posing similarly (as reference) would fix that.

Re: Kasanip's Sketchbook
Thank you for advice everyone!
It is interesting to try to train skill like this.
It is so-so I think. There was small interest one time because of sword transforming, but I never finished first book. I am surprised it is known by you!
It is very nice! It has been a long time for OotS since my sketch was used by another artist I think.
Thank you for your kind words and advice!
It was helpful, but I must practice this style. This is first try for me:
Spoiler
Actually I have been busy to sketch requests, so only a few new sketches to show here.

Re: Kasanip's Sketchbook
For some reason, this one makes me think of the pegasus knights from Fire Emblem. Maybe because the headband looks like a pair of little wings? At any rate, it's a really pretty sketch. That landscape drawing looks good for a first try, too!

Re: Kasanip's Sketchbook
I read a little of the manga. Fan translations of light novels are almost impossible to find; ones that are actually readable are even harder. The anime has an English dub though, apparently.
It was helpful, but I must practice this style. This is first try for me:

Hello everyone! How are you?
It became cold now, and so I got a cold. It's always a terrible feeling.

Thank you Memnarch and A Rainy Knight for idea. For avatar, some ideas were sketched:

Re: Kasanip's Sketchbook
Ooh! I think the first one's my favourite (the sketch with the scarf and beanie). The smile over the top of the scarf is just so cute! I'd love to see that on all your posts! I do see why Horngeek might like about the one with the computer, it feels like good avatar material too (I think the character is just an 'A', if I'm not mistaken).

Hmm, as for the avatars... I agree with banthesun, the one with the scarf in the upper left corner is both really cute and looks warm and cozy now that winter's coming. But I also really like the other two on the same row... it's so hard to choose a favorite!High School Harem Comedy, my original game system!
