Looking through some of the other WW threads, does there have to be a lynch vote every day or is it possible to vote to abstain?

Also looking forward to this game as it's my first so thanks Thufir

But they seemed too worried about these evil spirits they thought we’d be waking up and angering or something. Damned ridiculous superstition, but there you have it. We shall manage without, I’m sure. And soon enough the colony will grow in size, plenty of successful enterprises to be set up. I have a good feeling about this place.
Missing Caroline and the children, of course, but I’m sure it won’t be too long before we can have them join me out here. I’ll write her a letter for our suppliers to take back and send.

It’s true it was a little long, and his beard was a little on the unkempt side, but nothing to provoke serious remark, especially in the current circumstances, everyone new to the place, not quite settled into a routine yet, etc. Feared the accuser might become violent but a couple of his friends calmed him down and they departed together. Possible the accuser may have been drunk, though this has not been confirmed.

All terrific material for me to use when I tell the story to the children, of course. Speaking of which, everything being pretty well sorted here, I’ll send a message back home asking Caroline to come out and visit me. Not sure about completely uprooting the family straight away, but a visit, certainly, now that everything’s running smoothly (Which it is – the worst we’ve had is having to discipline a few soldiers for being lax about shaving. They claimed they had shaved and it simply grew back quicker than normal, young scallywags that they are).

The runner returned to get help. On forcing our way in, we found clear evidence of a fight – blood stains and broken furniture. We also found the bodies of a few soldiers we’d disciplined for lax shaving a few days previously, now transformed into wolf-men like the one we’d dealt with in the main square. There was no sign of Lieutenant-Colonel Miles, save only a hurriedly scribbled note (Attached), the instructions of which we have followed.
The remote location of the colony means this problem is unlikely to spread. It also means there is no help to be had. I can only pray we succeed in rooting out the werewolves, before they murder us all...

Professor Duneyrr D.D. Durathror removed the wax cylinder from his portable phonautograph as the young soldier continued. "Sir, we really must ask you to remain indoors for the time being."

"I have research to do, young man."

"I'm sorry sir. Please, you can set it up just inside the door, but we really can't allow you to be outside."

Reluctantly, the professor moved his apparatus inside, near the window, and spoke to himself softly: "I wonder if it can still pick up the howling in here. Such a curious display last night."

His head whipping up sharply at the mention of his name, Private British skittered upright in a tangle of limbs and wool. (he was sewing a wooly hat and scarf to calm his nerves.)

Panicking and looking around the room and quickly discovering what he was being accused of, he flung a finger out at the crowd and waved it randomly in the direction of the first person he glanced eyes upon.

"GrlumpTheElder! He did it!" cried, the young private. "We've all been suspicious of him, let's be honest!".

He then proceeded to turn sharply from the attention, become further tangled in the wool and fall on his face.
