Well in case I die tonight I'm most suspicious of Horoar...though considering if he is a wolf and IP was willing to throw him under the bus he's probably not the Devil.

Since IP did not turn out to be the Devil, I kind of doubt Horoar is also a Wolf. Trading a Wolf for a Seer-Claim is kind of a bad trade, since IP will then have to keep pointing out Wolves or he will die anyway, so unless the Devil is really confident of finding the Seer *that night*, it'd just be giving us a free Wolf.

Wouldn't he only have to throw us one wolf the keep the statistics at bay and then keep claiming he found villagers? By the time it'd look improbable he hadn't found another wolf they'd likely have found the Seer or the Seer would have found them. I could be wrong, I'm not great at them there math things.

We may not have a baner, but we still have a seer, right? So we just point at whoever shows up furry? :)
(I'm not recommending the seer comes out tomorrow and tells everyone, but I -believe- the Masons are already in contact with him :))

Actually, getting a second hit after the first hit is not that low. Statistics is wonky like that, your percentages do not reset just because you hit someone. But then again, maybe the Wolves aren't good at math either...

The alleged connection in our own tales between werewolves and the lunar cycle is completely absent from the accounts of the natives here. The werewolves transform at night, in the moonlight, whatever phase it may be presently occupying.
There is one tale I have heard in connection with the wolves and the moon. As with many native myths, it is difficult to discern if there is some underlying meaning to the tale, or if it is simply a story and nothing deeper. It runs somewhat thus:

The Moon took to the earth on one occasion. It is not known for what reason he did so – some say the Trickster lured him down somehow, some say he was simply invited with no ill will intended, some say he was simply curious as to the exploits of these creatures which thrived beneath his light.
Whatever the reason, the Moon walked the earth in mortal form. He joined with the humans out of curiosity. At first the werewolves were unaware of his presence, but in time they came to recognise him. They went and spoke to him.
“Oh Moon, why do you walk with the men like this?”
“I have come to see. It is a most intriguing game you play. You... are a werewolf, are you not?”
    “Indeed.”
“And yet I should not know this. I am a mortal here. But I recognise you now, in the way you look to me, to my light. Though here I do not shine.”
“Yet you are the Moon. Your light is within you, and it calls to us. We are drawn towards it.”
    “You are mistaken, my friend.”
“No! You contain it, and it holds power over us! With that power at our command, we might defy our constraints, unleash the power of the wolf at day as well as night, and overrun these pathetic humans. You have great power, yet here you are human. We shall take that power from you!”
And at that the wolves set upon the Moon. They tore him up, and he was then consumed by their leader. He felt the Moon’s power strong within him, and was sure that they would triumph. All in the village were sore afraid at the bloody countenance which came over the Moon as he shone in the sky that night. When day broke, the leader focused the power of the Moon to bring out their overwhelming lycanthropic power during the day to overwhelm the human inhabitants. However this failed, and merely served to draw their attention to him, leading to his death.
For the werewolves did not understand the manner of the Moon’s visit. Though he was upon the earth, he also shone down from above it, and there his power remained. In slaying him, they achieved no more than in slaying any other man of the village, for his light and his power were not contained within his mortal form.
And so by this the foolish wolves gained nothing but took their leader to his death, and though the Moon was sorely pained by his mortal death, and shone blood red for many days afterwards, yet he was but little inconvenienced, and no doubt he will some day descend to the earth once more.

In other news, this isn't really a surprise or a shock of any kind :) It's about the best we could've hoped for from the night. I can't imagine why they didn't go for Rasmus or one of the masons, but hey! I'll be glad if the network stays as big as possible for as long as possible :) Now awaiting to see if the network has a new target for us :)

They're probably taking blind shots at the seer. It should take them a while to figure anything out, hopefully. So, network people, who shall we lynch today?
