(You can blame Thanqol, is was is random oven question that made me think.) Not terrible pony-related, though ponies were used a reference.

Thus I ask the assemblied ponies (especially arty ponies) what, with minimal context, your impressions of a partial model.

There is something specific I am trying to do with it (and I can't really hint at it without potentially biasing everypony). If I haven't succeeded (likelihood), I will have to explain further and invest in further advice from the artistic among you (as it's running up against both my lack of skills in this particular area and the material limitations).

These things always have a strange way of turning out. Can you believe that there are some families where everypony actually does share similar interests?

Well, I'm basically a city pony and I'm guessing you are as well. The 'family business' is an old tradition after all, and a lot of rural ponies in the old days probably didn't get out much. In these modern times there's a lot more travel and better communication. I understand that mixed type families were nearly unheard of just a couple of generations ago.

(Unspoilered because it's not that long and we've topic-drifted into Equestrian society in general, which might be interesting to others.)

Well the rare Silver Spoon/Diamond Tiara fic finished up the other day. It actually does a good job of highlighting their personalities, rather than just making them generic badfillies. The author might be considering an epilogue, though, as it does end rather abruptly.

Starputty - if you slur it enough it might sound right
Starputee - (Star-put-e) - slur it slightly, and it works
Starskity - (Star-skit-e)
Charity - (Chair-it-e) - only the beginning is different
