Name: <<Jerl>> Liandri (known by surname only) (name kept in the family)

Notable Characteristics:
Liandri wears Mark (MRK) VII (7) Light Battle Armour, and wields a "Flak Cannon" (a Weapon that fires shards of metal shrapnel or a small grenade of condenced metal).
His hairstyle is swept back with a few locks of hair at the front.


Personality:
Liandri is possibly the most Gun Ho of all his family line, so much so that he actually competed in "The Tournament".
He is able to think rationally in combat situations, and he is a good battlefield assessor able to read the combat and come up with quick tactics to help the battle progress (not on a grand scale).
He acts calm and collected and is not afraid to voice his mind and opinions, since he has seen his share of blood and gore and terror it takes a lot to phase him meaning he is not often scared or surprised by grand things (e.g. explosions).
Liandri is (usually) friendly (except towards his adversaries and opponents on the battle field) and is the sort of person you would much rather have as an ally then as an enemy.


Background:
Liandri inherited his assets from his parents and was named after an ancestor that started up the Liandri Mining Corporation, he was taught by the best lecturers that money could buy but when he found out about the fact that his family sponsored an underground contest known as The "Tournament".
Over the next few years, the "Tournament" gained fame and Jerl gained an urge to compete under the alias of Xan Kriegor (who was believed to be a reprogrammed mining robot).
When his family found out they passed all the rights and assets to Liandri Mining Corporation and the "Tournament" to Jerl's younger brother.
Outraged, Jerl ran away from his family along with a large sum of money which he used to invest in some "Underworld dealings", he figured that as the "Tournament" began there, so would he.
He made up his own fortune and created a team of Mercenaries to aid him in raiding the next "Tournament" and steal the Magi-Tech of the weapons being introduced into the "Tournament" (such as "Shock Rifles" or "Lightning Guns").
He then took off from his home land and with his band of mercenaries and tried to escape from his family.
Unfortunately, The Liandri Family put a spy in his ranks who managed to sabotage the attempt to escape and supposedly slaughtered all members of the Merc group, the traitor then returned to tell that Jerl was dead (when in actual fact he managed to survive with a major wound).
Thus stranded on the mainland of Avboroy with only a "Flak Cannon" (which is running low on ammo), He set off in order to find a way to get his revenge on his so called 'Family'.


Powers/Abilities:
Liandri has no Magic Powers and can't cast Spells.
He makes up for this lack of Magical Power with his natural ability to... shoot things.
His experience taking part in the "Tournament" has meant that he has a natural ability to stay alive, keep his head in a fire fight and lead to his nature to never stay still in a fight (a stationary target is a dead target).
He also seems to be able to grasp the way complicated Weaponry and Technology work with relative ease.
His aim is second to none and he is capable with most ranged weaponry both low tech and Magi-Tech (his lack of experience in CQC means that he is poor at melee combat).
(The fact he has a lot of Assets means nothing to him, as he lost everything when the traitor attacked him and his Merc group.)

You can't claim that kind of stuff, just like I can't claim Q quotes and stop you from using them.
