Happy news: I have found a supply of iron-on transfer printer paper at reasonable prices (about 1/4 what a heat press T-shirt shop charges for the equivalent area AND I can cut and reassemble the pieces as I please).
Sad news: It only works on cotton and my next three wearable* sewing projects are synthetic fabrics.

Now I have a synthetic fabric, a dress pattern, and a burning need to use a tapestry-like theme for embellishment. Sew on narrow ribbons to replicate the letters and lines? Learn to *shiver* embroider or applique? Commission Mauve Shirt over her summer break to do the needlework?

*Fitting project included, but that will result in a pattern, not a garment.

It's 2003. I haven't even begun to play WoW yet. So, therefore, I never used my chance to leave it!
Although WoW wasn't released till 2004. So I have a good year to plan how awesome my character's going to be..
