Your proposal seems interesting- however, we ask for a little clarification. You ask for first choice of all extracted minerals- to clarify, you *do* only refer to those minerals which are available for sale, am I correct? We would not wish to destroy our own economy by, say, the loss of materials which are needed for our own expansion. Following are the terms which we might consider mutually beneficial:
    1. The first 50M H$ of industrial equipment purchased by the Union of Javraen each calendar year from Helligan Industries to be purchased at cost.
    2. Any further purchases to be a Favoured Partner trade levels, 12.5% below list price.
    3. Helligan Industries to pay 40% of all mineral extraction and processing facility instillation and maintenance (not staffing) of all facilities installed and run by the Union of Javraen for the duration of the contract.
    4. Helligan Industries to have first choice and selection of 20M H$ worth of available newly extracted minerals at cost.
    5. Helligan to recive 1.5% of all revenues raised through international sales of unrefined mineral substances(other than to Helligan).
    6. Helligan to receive 24M H$ for the sale of 102 antique nuclear missiles (Trident design) and a further 8M H$ for the sale of 36 warheads (Cruise design) to be repaid at 0% APR, in whole or in part, before the end of the contract period.
    7. This contract to be binding for a period of 4 years with the possibility of extension after this period on a year-by-year basis.

Most importantly, would you be interested in a collaborative research project? We feel that a combination of our technology and expertise and the discipline and power of the Han Dynasty might make great advances in many fields.
In addition, we hear that you have recently allied with several other nations- who, as it happens, are currently in agreement with the Union also. Would you consider a combination of our own agreements in accordance with your treaty?"

The crowd cheers at the other two as well, if maybe a little less loadly than the cheers for Han.

Shona waits and then held up a copy of the document, this one unsigned for the crowd to see "This paper is our will, and yours, made real. A treaty of such strength as to assure that the light of peace is lit, and make sure it stays that way"

She placed the paper on the large table and lowered a elegant pen of Jade to the paper. The crowd is hushed as she signs the paper. Shona smiles and places the pen carefully on the document and steps aside.

We would hope that our own robotic advances might aid in the dangerous environments which this would entail. Of course, your own contribution is likely to be of great aid in this respect- particularly considering the dipomatic skill your leaders appear to be currently displaying.

If they do, how about this: as founding members, the Union of Javraen and the Han Dynasty each recieve a thirty percent share of any proceeds, with the remainder evenly split between all involved parties- including our own two states, again. Sounds good?

Hawaii is a tiny and unimportant part of your empire. It brings you virtually no revenue, it isn't what people think of when they think of America, and it is isolated.
I do expect you could give us a hell of a fight if you bent your full might to that task. But for Hawaii? Is it worth risking even one of your precious enhanced soldiers for such a tiny string of islands?
Frankly, we want Hawaii more than you do. We pursue Pacific Unity the way you pursue profit. And with that in mind, perhaps we can work out a deal.
Anything but territory is on the table. Do you want ships, to make sure your soldiers can actually get to their destinations? We can do that. Do you want training grounds to make your troops even better? We have plenty of empty islands that fit the bill. Do you want cash? Because Hawaii is worth very much to us. Enough for even a man as rich as you to consider the offer. Believe me, we can get the money. Food? Renewable energy technology? We can give you the means to make even more wealth for yourself.

If we were to sell Hawaii to you we would require you to sign a non agression pact with us. Hawaii is far too close to our shores to allow for anything else. Also, on the note of renewable energy. Do you refer to Solar, Wind, and Hydrogen energies, or something more advanced. We do have abit of a dependency on a dwindling oil supply, and fixing our energy dependency is worth the cost of Hawaii, and would greatly improve upon our nations morale to know that we are now 100% American supported in our most vulnerable area."

"Well if you are finished here I have been asked to brief you to the effect that we will be wanting to focus on the potential for economic and military co-operation over the coming decades. We are not the only nations so-engaged and we have to make sure we are able to have a lead of the field solution."

Marcus motions for Klause to follow him, and he leads him into a massive white building, past lab rooms where various procedures are happening, before punching several codes into a panel, speaking his name into a microphone, and putting his finger on a scanner when they reach a set of double doors.
The doors slide open, to reveal a small room, of a similar white, but with various food stuff plants such as grapes, bannana's, apples, and various other fruits arranged within arms reach of the table. alan moves over to a creamic table, also white, and pulls out a chair for Mr.Klaus.
"Welcome friend. To the embassy. Please. Try one of the fruits that have been grown right here in this very room. I assure you they will meet your highest standard."

Alexis nods to Mr.tapp, taking down a few notes on all this, before responding in a calm tone.
"Yes, we believe that this would be a most benefical group for A.B.T, and its inter national subsidaries. Helligan industries has proven itself a capable bussines in regards to both stability, and productivity, and A.B.T would be honored to enter a partner ship with Helligan Industries.

Now hold on a minute, that was not a no. Business is all about speculation. Why don't we put this to the test. 6 month lease on the facility and 3.5B US$ (In H$ which comes to 4.8B H$) due to the newness of the proposition with a view to more generous terms in the future IF you can prvide me with information, any information, about my private life that only a skilled and well resources organization would be able to locate. My breakfast choices for the past month perhaps, or the titles of the books on my bedside cabinet without my knowing that you have been there perhaps. If you can do this then we will be very interested in opening a relationship with you. We just need some quantifiable evidence.

I'm sorry for not responding to this earlier. Your $3 billion over is still quite generous, I must admit.

As for your task, it is accepted. My agents are impeccably resourceful. They will be able to find out your personal information.

"Indeed, these organicly produced fruits and vegetables need no sunlight, or any other form of light, but instead produce the nessescary chemicals through Bio synthesis, in this case they devour carbon di oxide, and other industrial waste gases, and process them into energy, and producing oxygen. We plan to release these to the world in just under a month. Anyways, back to the reason yoou came here. A.B.T wishes to collaborate with Helligan for production of a newly developed military bio plane. It will be entirely self sufficent, running off the same bio synthesis, in addition to natural solar energies being absorbed, and able to be flying on stand by indefintely. No more waiting for the planes to take off to respond to a threat, nor having your air force wiped out while still on a landing platofrm, or on a take off strip. We merely need the production facilities, and some technological help from Helligan to finish the project, and get things underway.

As a metter of fact, I believe that the Brazilian empire was interested in a research deal a while back. Nothing solid came of it, however, but I am sure they would be interested.
