Every time you have a chance to hear something in a reactive manner (such as when someone makes a noise or you move into a new area), you can make a Listen check without using an action. Trying to hear something you failed to hear previously is a move action.

I think that means I can make an active listen for more info on what I heard and where last round. Extra Listen - (1d20+3)[10]

Which means I need the new listen result before proceeding.
The probability of that hearing anything significantly new is minimal. On with the round.

After a half speed move action to T22 with Move Silently, I'll end the invisibility spell by blasting my opponent with a vertical color spray. Normal DC is 16, but due to RN being a fire creature your being a water creature bumps the DC to 18. Or reduces your save by 2. I'm not sure how it works, but either way the result is the same.
