    Is there any precedent for throwing dust or sand into a space or in a line to see if there is an invisible person is there? Like if I dropped sand off the column could I tell if Krung is climbing the column, and if so, how far up he is?

    Then supposing I locate him or get lucky, while climbing he loses his dex bonus to AC, right?

    Additionally, if I were to succesfully attack him while he is climbing, would he have to make a succesful climb check to avoid falling?

    There are flour bags and torchbug paste, but they both have to be purchased.

    Yes.
    You need both hands free to climb, but you may cling to a wall with one hand while you cast a spell or take some other action that requires only one hand. While climbing, you can’t move to avoid a blow, so you lose your Dexterity bonus to AC (if any). You also can’t use a shield while climbing.

    Yes.
    Any time you take damage while climbing, make a Climb check against the DC of the slope or wall. Failure means you fall from your current height and sustain the appropriate falling damage.

    On the bright side, with one minute per level, and a level three caster level of the potion (unless I'm mistaken), I've almost wore out the duration by a third.

    If light sources never become invisible, if an opponent were lit on fire, would I see where he is by the flames/light?

    Also, nat 20's mean nothing on skill checks. They're only auto successes on attack rolls.
