Till he vanishes. And, a few seconds later, doesn't reappear.

[Infirmary]

Dr Fitzhenry, his arm in a cast, awakes in the infirmary. Sitting next to him, lifeless, is the clockwork doll. He tries to wind her back up again, but that is normally a two handed job. He figures out a way to brace her so he can work the key with one hand, but it'll take him a while to wind her up all the way.

"Hi." Misaki looks a bit weirded out and worried. "Um, Scarlet? There was a man in the Rose garden, and he was all weird and flickery - like he was there one second, and not the next, and then he'd come back - but he hasn't come back now."

Misaki frowns and thinks. "Maybe I'll go tell Quinn. I'll go check the infirmary for her." And so the little catgirl moves off to it, entering the infirmary and probably spotting the good doctor. "Oh, hello! Have you seen Quinn?"

"I'm sorry, young Miss, I have not had the pleasure of meeting anyone named Quinn. I am Dr Ferris Fitzhenry, research fellow of Magdalen College, Oxford University." he says, tipping his hat and giving a bow.

"Oh. I'm Misaki. Please to meet you!" The catgirl does a little curtsy to him politely. "I need to find Quinn.." Of course, her curiosity gets the better of her. "Um, what are you doing? Who is she?"

Scarlet says. So she slides off her chair and heads to the rose garden to see if she can find any evidence of what Misaki was referring to.
