I just noticed that in this strip in panel 7, the fact that V was turned into a lizard was mentioned in the presence of Blackwing but he didn't realize it was V until it was mentioned again in strip 714 !

I'm not sure if anyone's brought this up or not but in strip #300 look at the hobgoblin in the background when Xykon and Redcloak are talking.

PanzerFox meant that the hobgoblin doesn't go from left to center to right, but from left to right to center, as if Rich had first assembled frames in one order, then decided to reorder them and didn't see that the position of the goblin got jumbled. It happens, especially if you end up trying to assemble things like that with a deadline and in the middle of the night.

I don't think Rich moves the panels around, because I don't know if it's worth the hassle, and I do think that it is supposed to be more than one goblin that walks past them (because they gather themselves into the Army of Doom shown in the last panel).

I agree with this. It wouldn't make sense if those panels were fliiped, that way Xykon would read the paper first and Then get it from Redcloak. I think it's just more than one hobgoblin.

Fun thing i thought I'd share:

#428 is named It Takes A Thief.

When #609 came out, it was also named It Takes A thief, but after many fans pointed this out in the discussion thread, Rich changed it to It Takes TWO Thieves, Actually. This was pretty fun if you were there to see the first title.

Just a small thing that's obvious but I didn't really think of it until now:

In #50 Nale hits Elan in the head both as toddlers and as adults.

I mean, I've obviously seen both the frames when I read the comic, but I never until now made the connection that Nale has never changed his way of dealing with his brother. Even though he never knew he had a brother until then.

It took me at least 4 read-through to realize that when the Iron Mage guy is reviewing V's past (in a way that would make proud), The panel for the 43-year old V, covering his "apprenticeship" shows an animated broom carrying buckets, like in the sketch in Fantasia entitled "The Apprentice"

It's pretty obviously a reference to Fantasia rather than Goethe, though, because V's outfit mirrors the one Mickey Mouse wears during that scene.

No it doesn't. All we're seeing in the background is the last few hobgoblins wandering into place. I can't fathom why anyone thinks they're some sort of mistake.
