Oh man, that WAS hilarious!

Last year at the shelter I was showing a kitten to a young couple, and the kitten was on the countertop. The kitten ran over the edge of the countertop, scrabbled madly at the edge, and then literally slid over the edge onto the ground.

Don't worry, the kitten was alright.

And I FINALLY caught a Teddiursa in crystal! (5% encounter rate+A nasty tendency to flee=A BITCH to catch). I'm doing a Teddiursa-only run.

I named him Elan.

My female Cyndaquil starter is named Haley.

There are six slots in your active party in pokemon.

I always catch a Gastly precisely because it gets Mean Look.

What's the rest of your team going to be? I'd make V into something genderless, like a Magnemite (a personal favorite of mine) or a Ditto in honor of the crack pairings threads (breed with EVERYTHING. Even things without gender!)

I mean... I don't play pokemons. *cough*

I'm dreading turning 17, since once I do I'll no longer be able to pretend I'm still a child. And it's barely four months away.

You know how it is with getting older; it sneaks up on you. When you're 10, 13 looks so far away, and 14 is something that'll never happen to you. Then before you know it, you're 15, but hey, that's still young right? Then you're 16, then you're 17.... I worry that one day I'll stop to look and I'll be thirty or fourty, and I'll still be in denile about my age.

The good part is... Then you finally turn 18, and realise that although you really should start feeling like an adult by now, you don't feel ANY different, and have the epiphany that you're as much of a child as you want yourself to remain, and decades of age won't change that. :)

CoffeeIncluded, allow me to extend my belated hugs. I can sympathise somewhat, I've had similarly frustrating experiences in these past few months, though nothing that extreme. Just remember that there are different ways to reach your full potential. *hugs with hot chocolate and cookies*
