Brilliant Energy. Either as a spell or by paying for the weapon enhancement. I recommend adding it to arrows rather than the bow, so you don't need to pay as much.

Be careful about turning bows into Ranged Touch attacks. It means a single spell (Ray Deflection) will make your opponent totally immune to your attacks.

........I think I'm going to go make a melee character now. AC scales better than AB, and touch attacks are not only near impossible to do right on a bow, there's a spell that kills them dead. Oh well.

Not to mention, it's a good spell, that protects against a variety of solid kill effects, and thus makes its way into many buff lists.

Just as a note, AB actually scales faster than AC. The problem is that high-tier arena play is dominated by full casters, who have a myriad of ways to access AC boosts that are a great deal better than level-appropriate ones. Thus, a full caster who wants to be a tank can AC tank quite competently.

I just learned the hard way that Pierce Magical Protection can overcome almost all of that, though. It's probably worth looking in to for anyone who expects to fight AC 60+ spellcasters, because it makes them more like AC 30 spellcasters.

Surge of Fortune for an auto-20, followed by Mark of the Movanic for another 20, I believe. This coupled with the ability to hide from almost all forms of detection for long periods of time.

Close but not quite, Tanar. Planar Touchstone gets me a 1 time free action auto-20. Much cheaper than taking Warmarked levels. Additionally, I had about 30 Phaant Luckstones to rely on if I magically failed the first time.

So, after many months of not-sheetchecking, I've gotten to work on it (on a "pretty please" request).

Ae's psion is approved for qualificatory matches.
