You can have crack that isn't funny.

But normally, yes, good crack = funny.
And please. I've written crack. Once. Oddly, it was an OoTS fanfic before i found this forum. XD
I also wrote an utterly random idea that may count as crack that was CREEPY. That was completely not OoTS. XD

The one thing that might make him stop and think would be how much control he had of Reddy at that time. Apart from that, it would depend on what he felt like doing and what he thought would get the reaction he wanted.

As long as he had Tiasal, he'd be pretty secure in his power over Redcloak. Redcloak wouldn't be able to stop himself from reacting, but he wouldn't try to do something stupid like betray Xykon unless he was really, really certain that his plan was foolproof. I'm wondering how much Vaarsuvius would allow--she's extremely proud and is averse to being touched, even by those she cares about sometimes, but her daughter could get hurt if she resists too much. Add the fact that Xykon knows that they won't dare stop him, how far would he be willing to go? Would he tell V to get naked for him at some point, even if he didn't plan to do anything? Where would it stop?

Which is why they'd be scared; they wouldn't know whether Xykon was just playing around, or whether he was serious. And if it turned out to be the latter, what would they do?

Exactly. If he turned up with a polymorph spell one day and told Vaarsuvius to get into one of the spare bedrooms, neither V nor Reddy could do much to make him back off. Vaarsuvius would have to consent to what he asked for Tiasal's sake, and I don't see her or Reddy being especially happy about that.

And what would it do to Vaarsuvius's and Redcloak's dynamic? I can see V getting distant and hostile to push him away (if she had been thinking about how she felt like she was betraying him while this was going on, that would be an indicator of how deeply she loves him, and that's something she's still afraid of), and it would have to feel at the very least odd for Reddy to be kissing and touching her knowing that Xykon did the same thing.

Great idea. That way, if you have multiple ideas you wont have to limit yourself to picking just one

V specifically can't cast it, since she barred Conj. But she's also not a decent caster. Disintegrate, though, she almost definitely has, and people resurrected come back with some of their spell slots full, so she would have them left even without a book.

That's true; However, once those slots are used up, she doesn't really have anything. And what she does have left is probably leftovers from, uhhh... Where was Tiasal born, exactly?
