Twilight the Reckoning III: The Revenge

[Cracklord]

Wang looks ready to hit her again, then backs down. He doesn't have it in him for torture.
Egg steps up, squinting balefully. "I wonder if I can find out the old fashioned way." He says, putting his palms on either side of her head, and chanting softly Master magicians like Lo-Pan could smother someone's will so completely they could be used like a puppet, but Egg wasn't trying for that. Answers were all he wanted.

((Between the Bea Arthur mask and that she is good at catching Wade off guard.))

Deadpool lets go. Legitamently surprsed, he actually drops his sword. Backing away slightly he points at her. "Is this some kind of sick trick? Some kind of jab at greatest weakness to throw me off balance because the Bea mask was one thing but this is just sick girl and I know sick. I hung out with my severed zombie head from another universe."

Wang

It comes in a series of images, each one flashing by so rapidly that you can barely make out the details.

Flash. A man in white, laughing maniacally as he shot out her brother's kneecaps. Flash Another vampire, cannibalizing his own kind, serving a dark manipulative master. Flash. An angry man in black leather, burning them, roasting her father alive. Flash. Her darling little niece, brought up by her parent's killers. Flash. Her own death. Oh god why did she have to see her own death? And they were coming. They were coming for them. Why did they have to die?

The vampire speaks. "Get out of my mind." Now she sounds shaken.

[Cracklord]

((Good times))
Egg lets go. "Gladly." He replies. He looks shaken, perhaps a little sympathetic. Wang does not.

Still wrapped in Pinhead's chains, the prophetic vampire gazes at the mystic. "Then you see why we fight. Because we will not die. We all want to live. I bear no ill will towards you, any of you, but we want to live. And now matter what we have to do, we will continue to exist." Her hand, buried underneath barbs and chains, seems to grasp something, a charm, maybe, and she starts to fade away. A teleportation spell, and the charm made it untraceable as well.

"See you in sixteen hours."

Deadpool

Putting aside his shock at the mention of his death Deadpool resumes his normal fourth wall breaking joker persona.

"Oh come on! Not even another scrap of paper? Just flashbacks to the old games. That sucks."

Akuma

The man takes you to a door on the side of a chain-link fence. What said door is doing there, you cannot say, but when he opens it, and you go through it, you find yourself in the middle of London, where a small dark-haired woman with eerily pale skin is staring at you.

"Time to die, little master," she states, very matter-of-fact about her insult.

Preadator

The hunter leads Broken Sword and Walker to it's ship so they can fly to London. To resume their hunt.

Pinhead
Pinhead looks on as yet another Cullen escapes his grasp; the way they kept doing that was almost intriguing, aswell as the vague prophecies. He would not break one, as Destiny had a way of crushing those who got under her skin, instead he merely watches as events unfold, "We must simply move forward as we planned before the malfunction."
Walker
Walker stares around the ship; he'd seen more advanced things, but if nothing else, predator gear didn't break down as often and could be brought in for maintenance, "Do you happen to have a phone, or some other type of communication device on this ship?"

Akuma merely says,"Very well.," and awaits to see what the man shall do.

"Then to the terminals!" Deadpool walks off to the terminal.

Predator

He hunter growls and nods. Pressing a few button on the main console another console lights up next to Walker. The console has a visible microphone and an array of numbered buttons that change from Predator to English for his convenience.

The man takes you to a door on the side of a chain-link fence. What said door is doing there, you cannot say, but when he opens it, and you go through it, you find yourself in the middle of London, where a small dark-haired woman with eerily pale skin is staring at you. The man doesn't follow you.

"Time to die, little master," she states, very matter-of-fact about her insult.

Akuma responds in a very basic manner, that might catch the woman by surprise. Not being a man of exposition, or speaking much in general, he punches her in the face. Not just a simple punch either, a very powerful and very swift punch to the face, one of a bone-breaking nature.

The small slip of a girl blocks your blow with a downward sweep of her hands. Then, still perfectly calm about the whole thing, sends her own reply in the form of several jabs equal to yours, with the occasional kick to the knee for good measure.

Pinhead
"Indeed." Pinhead walks quickly alongside Deadpool, intent on finally getting to the bottom of all of this.
Walker
Walker moves to the machine and attempts to get into contact with Taylor's secretary, Cathy. Unfortunately, with everything going on in the Nightside, he wasn't sure he could reach his own office as of now.

Walker

You are answered by a voice that is far too cheerful to exist. "Taylor Investigations. This is Cathy speaking...oh. It's you, Walker. You've got five seconds before I hang up on you."

OOC:I assume. Sorry if my posts are somewhat...scattered yesterday, today, and probably in the short term; I'm coming down with something; my joints ache and my head feels like it's going to explode on me.

"I need to get in contact with Taylor; I need some information and my communication network isn't at it's best. It's simple; nothing dangerous, just passing along a request or two."

Walker sighs, and tries Taylor directly this time; it would have been simpler to go through the office, but Cathy clearly wasn't going to be helpful.

You hear the distinctive sound of the best anti-ad weaponry money can provide.

"Hello Walker." From the ambient noise around him, you can tell that he's currently at Strangefellows, talking to Razor Eddie. That smell extends through the phone lines.

"Taylor. Doing some footwork on the vampires causing problems; I've traced them down to one family and I need some information on them, because I've never heard the name before. I need you to contact a few of the more...long lived of the inhabitants to see if they recognize the names."

[industrious]

"Already done that. I have all the information I could find in front of me. Now, about my fee..." Taylor's getting cocky, with the Voice of the Authorities away from the Nightside. And the whole defeating Lilith thing.

Walker
"Should have expected that; just to make sure we're on the same page here, Taylor, the list of conversations include Dracula, Father Time, and The Lord of Thorns, right? You're not getting paid if you didn't talk to them; a bit extra if you got conversation with Griffith; he's bound to know something." Walker says, going through the list of names he had a suspicion would know something.

"Father Time hasn't rebuilt his Tower yet. And going to Shadows Fell is extra. Dracula hasn't been seen in weeks; we think he's been killed. No matter, really, since he lost most of his power around the turn of the century. The Lord of Thorns told me a few choice details, though."

"You'll be paid the extra for Shadow Falls; do try to find Dracula, these are still vampires; he's bound to know something about them. The money for the base information will be wired when you've given me what The Lord of Thorns gave you, as well as whoever else you looked up."

"Done." There is a brief shuffling of papers, a small amount of arguing, and the sound of a straight razor slicing through a sheet of paper. "Most of the seers and precogs I went to just started screaming and holding their heads the moment I mentioned the Cullens; obviously, they're planning something big. And it probably involves the future, somehow. One of them did manage to moan out something about them being 'able', whatever that means. The Lord of Thorns told me that the family was going to create a thaumaturgic connection powered by ritual sacrifice. That was all he told me before he started weeping again."

Thaumaturgy. Ritual magic that creates resonances between two or more objects or people. While vague, it was a start at least. As for sacrifice...the Volturi didn't seem quite as powerful as their organization appeared.

((Ouch. If it feels that bad, take a break from the game. My sympathies.))

Wang
The two return to the hotel, with the intent of getting a good night's sleep.

T-800
The machine waits for a vehicle driving towards the base, then stands in the middle of the road. When they stop, it walks over to the door, shoots them both, and takes any weapons they have. It then gets into the vehicle, not bothering to change it's clothes, and begins driving, the two bodies left on the sidewalk.

Team Insanity and Pain Involving Various Stabbity Things

You arrive at the airport, and find that the place is virtually deserted. All planes have been grounded, a hanging piece of paper says, due to "security concerns". Large wanted posters show Deadpool with and without his mask, as well as Pinhead's. Not exactly helpful against them, but it's the thought that counts.

"I thought you'd be back here," comes a voice from behind them. It belongs to a man with salt and pepper hair, a blue bodysuit, and a red cloak, fastened with the Eye of Agamotto. Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme.

"Hello, Pinhead."

Walker
"The money is being sent. Get me the rest, then call me back at this number." Walker then ends the transmission and turns back to his compatriots,"Just a little intel gathering."
Pinhead
"Strange; I assume you know my associate and temporary herald, Deadpool." Pinhead responds, not in the least bit surprised at the man's arrival.

((I'm getting in an update to everything I'm involved with, then probably back to sleep. Frankly, if anyone ever asks me to help with something involving 2 hours outside in blistering cold and rain again, that person will be getting a 'no'. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience))
